Indoor Muddy's Ghaze x Diesel Grow

Right. I think I bypassed the fact in my head what exactly is going on. haha. It's like calibrating scales. I need to know for sure what the weight is I use so I can twist the knob until it lines up. I think I get it now. So sorry, Muddy for putting this here.

No problem Squid. In box is cleaned out now.

I'd suggest you wait for the calibration solution. If it is off you don't want to be making any changes based on an incorrect reading.

Cool. It does say it auto calibrates. I needed/wanted to use it anyway so this is what I did>>>

I opened 'er up and inspected her carefully, and cleared away what I guess was dried up storage solution from the distributor. I guess yours is the same as mine and has the little sponge and section to keep storage solution in the cap? Pretty neato to me. As instructed I soaked the electrode for over an hour in storage solution after a rinse with tap water.

After that I ran through some tests with my tap water, since I knew around what ph it would be. It seemed dead on, temp, ppm and ph.
ppm was around 100
temp 70 something, room temp
ph was right over 7

Then I checked my last jug of distilled water that had been bubbling(not using distilled anymore, getting spring water jugs instead or just my tap water seems fine)
The distilled read a little lower just as it had before with my drop test for ph.
So I added my first dose of Bio Grow and Bio Root, 1/4 strength.
Checked and it read just a little lower in ph and higher in ppm, upwards of 250ppm.
Added a couple drops of ph down and gave it a shake.
Checked and it read lower until I got it into range and fed.
That was last night, no problems that I can see yet.
I cleaned the meter off and placed her back into new storage solution in the cap and she is stored upright in a couple party cups.

Seemed to be good, but I will definitely calibrate her when I get the solution in.
Thanks Muddy

It's probably fine. Even if it's off a little it won't be much.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Gah, that thing is such a breeze to use :D I love it. No more ph problems for the Squid.

Well, once again I just haven't had the time to do a proper grow log, so my apologies to all.

As you may or may not remember, this grow was a test run for Phree of his Ghaze x Diesel. This is a work in progress so don't take what you see here as representative of what his final strain will be.

At this point everything has been harvested and is curing. I'll have final weights soon as I get time to weigh them. Of the 5 plants, 4 of them were runts. They all were about 7 - 8" tall. The 5th one was bigger, getting to 15". Even though they didn't get tall, the buds did get very fat. In part, I credit the AN pH Perfect nutes for this. Very pleased with them.

These plants had a wonderful smell while growing, fruity with a hint of diesel. As they are curing it's bringing out the diesel a bit more. Phree told me I'd probably get both sativa and indica dominants from them and he was correct. So far I've sampled 3 of the 5 and 2 are indica and 1 is sativa. Of course, as an indica lover, I'm digging those. What is really making them special for me is the quality of the stone and the potency. It is a very hard hitting indica stone with virtually no couch lock. Without a doubt, this is the most potent auto I've yet to smoke. The first time the Mrs. and I vaped some I put my usual amount in the vape. I doubt we used half of it. The Mrs. got up, tried to walk to the other side of the room, and walked right into the wall. LOL, she didn't smoke anything for 3 or 4 days afterwards and said she could still feel it the next morning. Such a light weight! It's also a long lasting stone. We vaped around 8 in the evening and I was still well stoned when I went to bed around midnight.

Phree has a real winner in the works with this strain. I'm planning on keeping plenty for my stash and would love to give it a test again in the future as he continues his development of this fine strain.

Man the last two pics are particularly stumpy. Those things are all bud, Mr. Waters! haha. Great job man, even if most are runts. Maybe it was the WD-40 additive.:D :crying: Just kidding.
Sounds like a great smoke.

Looks real dank muddy do you know how they were so stumpy ? We're they bred for smaller traits just curious . They still look super awesome sounds like some great smoke
