Hey Guys

Today is Day 19, and noticed some spotting over night on 1 of 3 plants

Strain: Blue Dream Auto from Humboldt
Lights: 20/4 - 260w HLG V2 rspec Qb about 23" above top leaf
Medium: 70% Biobizz light, 30% vermiculite in 5 gal fabric pots and elevated for drainage.
Water: RO/DI - can't use tap, over 400 ppm and ph of 7.9 (liquid rock). Watering schedule is as need by estimated weight.
N

Using Cal/Mag xtra from advance nutrients, voodoo juice. Water is pHed with a calibrated Aperra pH probe.

What are your thoughts on the pictures? Should i be using Cal/Mag for every watering at this point since I have not started nutes? Again thanks for the tips and tricks!

RO is not a water source you can use for "water only" days. It must always be mixed with something.

Water only days you should mix ro and your tap if you need water only days.

If you water with plain RO.... they end up looking just like this.

You can run plain RO, IF it has a re-mineralizer attatched.

Thanks! Believe it or not this info is very hard to find!

Have dealt with an alkalinity issues from straight RO. My best results were after the membrane in the system was worn enough that I was seeing 150ppm. What I was seeing was what the nute company that I use has been looking at for the last 6 to 8 months.

Completely understand this. I have to keep a newer membrane and filters since I have multiple soft water aquariums.

If I am feeding advanced nutrients MGB at 1ml/l ...how often should i feed just water + cal/mag?

Thanks

Been a far piece since I used advanced...

The nute line I run allows for me to split my mix up so I never have a plain water day. Personally, indoor I want to control as much as I can, so I'll use mediums that will allow for feeding as much as possible. (Coco or mild soil)

Outdoor I just want to bbq and watch plants grow, so those i tend to grow "water only"

Sorry...typical bipolar answer.
