Hey everyone
Got a few autos I’m testing out with a blumat irrigation system. I’m away from home for weeks at a time so this could be interesting. This is my 3rd season growing while working away. Lots of challenges but so far has been rewarding. Growing a Canuck Amnesia,Canuck Cheese,2 Dynafem Blue Cheese and 2 Mephisto Ripley’s OG. I use a fixed wifi web camera to see what’s going on which I think should be essential for any grower. So far I’m killing it on day 12I added some short blumats today to give each pail 2 blumats(1x5” and 1x3” I think) just incase there is a problem with one and to keep moisture near the surface. I may end up going out doors with this grow in a few weeks and do intend on making some regular seeds with a male from my own auto mix. Soil mix is a mix of foxfarm ocean Forrest/promix organic and added more perlite. Enjoy!

Pic is from today. 2 weeks from seed. Already getting a stank on so started exhausting air.

@Spacejunkie How do you like those blumats? Were they hard to get set up and dialed in? Any tips to offer? I have some and plan to install them soon.

So far so good. Never had autos blow up like this before. Get the soil at the moisture you want it soak the blumat carrots for 1/2 hr. I soaked overnight though. Get it all set up then start with the last carrot on your line by opening the valve until water starts then close it slowly until you get a hanging drop. If you look closely there are upside down triangles. Once you get the drop to hang there tighten it 2 triangles and it’s set. Work your way back toward the reservoir doing one carrot at a time. I’m using it gravity fed.

Been away for 1 week now. Things look really good in the tent. Here’s a pic I just took. They are 20 days old from seed now.i have my carrots hooked up to about a 20gallon reservoir. Pretty sure it will make 2 more weeks. Growth slowed down some since I have been exhausting 24/7. Basement is cool and the LED lights don’t throw enough heat to keep up with the exhaust. Was around 27C now they’re sitting around 20C. Autos love it toasty!

Week 4 today. Think I need a camera on my water reservoir. Lol stressing a bit about it but I think this system if fairly conservative on the water. Been over 2 weeks since I’ve laid eyes on my girls. Looks like I need to put a few outside already.

I know this is a 4 no old thread, just wanted to second the beauty of the blumats. I travel for work too and once they carrots are set up and dialed they really are hassle free. I have 3 drippers off a single carrot in my setup and a 15 gal reservoir. Adding 1/2 strength veg nutes straight to the resevoire. I’m on D31 with a Jackberry, a MoAB, and a Caramelicious. They are drinking collectively about a gallon/day.

How did your grow turn out? Did you transfer to outside or stay indoor?
