Mites- I got em, tell me if they will die PICS!!

Montgomery is there spinosad company, but I'm seeing it in lots of other preparations. Even at my local home depot.

Monterey Garden brand insect spray is the name, or Capt'n Jacks which I see at OSH,... 30x is plenty, even less is fine for these tasks,.. too much mag' is difficult to work with! ... yeah, I forgot to ask about new pics,... Nothing automatic about hermie' issue mate, so don't worry much about that....

Hey this might sound stupid... Try a shop vac before you spray.. it really takes a toll on the bugs. It may rip a few leaves here and there but it will definitely thin the herd.. just make sure you have a filter in the vac so your not blowing mites everywhere out the exhaust port

I'd read this somewhere as well...using a vacuum to gently suck as many as you can off. The dude I was reading even went so far as to recommend tossing the bag (assuming your vacuum has one) and tossing it in the freezer overnight before throwing away to make sure they're good and dead. *insert evil grin*

Yeah I wouldn't even be gentle. I was jamming as much bud as I could get up the hose.. I got my BOM win with one of the plants that had mites

That's fuckin awesome man!! Thing that I'm worried about doing it that way is some of the leaves are very brittle. Not the whole plant but maybe 20% of the leaves have at least one brittle individual fan leaf, anyway I'm worried about pulling them off. Question is if they're that brittle that they're going to fall off then would it really matter if I suck them up?

I'm not a very technical grower. I just stick it in promix and it grows or it don't. When I had mites I didn't care what I did I wanted them to die. My theory is if the leaves are about dead or dead they go.. I don't think the plant needs to spend energy trying to repair something it can't

Ohhh....great advice thanks man!! I'm going to get the vac out now.
