I see advanced ambering on sugars, but variable on calyxes. The girl continues to grow more new pistils, but at least some of the calyxes are done. She has everything from mostly clear calyxes to too amber ones.

I am looking for full couch lock for sleep meds. Is she there yet? Am I pushing for too much Amber? @Mañ'O'Green, @pop22?

Thanks peeps. :pighug:

Yes I believe she is ready for a slumber buzz. Beautiful!

:slap:

No better sleeper than a top drawer Northern Lights soldier :smoking: I had the same intention last year but had to chop earlier than planned. Your specimen is what I hoped to see from my own, great work OF :toke: catch those zzzs

I
I left several lower branches to mature longer, so this is likely about 3/4 of it. Sticky, and solid. It is going to weigh in nicely.

:pighug: OF likes chunky chicks- .... nicely done my man, that's a juicy plant, very well ripened and I think she's gonna hit with both hands!

This girl was a photo, and whose version? ...I have a SeedStocker NL photo to try, a #2 x #5 cross... Can you believe it, I've never run an NL yet! Hell, if I even want to try it, I'll have to grow it coz nobody else can be bothered anymore, pop culture crap has blown so many classics off the road!

How does this one smell?...... post some dry-porn later when ready please! :slap: :smokeout:

Believe it or not mate, she is an auto, Seedsman Auto Northern Lights. She actually did her auto thing perfectly on schedule but it's been slow since then. Whatever, she produced some chunky bud. It will be interesting to see how the weigh in goes. The buds are some solid. As you know, many of the auto versions of this strain have issues with the auto switch, but I guess I got lucky. I made a quicky DIY tent for her because I did not want to bugger up her sisters with 12/12 lighting. Turned out she didn't need 12/12 after all. LMAO, had I not made her a "tent", she would likely be about six feet high and just started flowering.

As to the aroma. Bloody hell, I do not know what peeps are talking about when they say that this strain is stealthy. My wife, for the first time this grow, mentioned how the smell upstairs in the house got downright aromatic while I was trimming. I was in the basement behind two closed doors and a hallway. Good thing she was not in the same room. Tolerant lady.

I would describe the aroma as plenty strong, but very pleasant, with maybe a bit of conifer in it at this point. I have a tough time describing smells most times. At any rate, stealthy she ain't. The other problem is that many of the buds will not even come close to fitting in my grinder, not even the big grinder. A shame that.

Dry porn later, you can count on it! The macro lens setup has had more work on cannabis than everything else combined times about ten.

Thanks for checking in and for the rep mate, much appreciated.:pighug:

Oh that looks good! N L takes awhile but sure is worth the time. Well done!
Thanks Kyote! She was slow, but boy, those buds are dense. It will be interesting to see what the buzz is like.

Happy growing mate, good to see you here. :pighug:

It's one of my favorites. It was my first indoor try and grew one outdoors last summer as well. I have grown the photos outdoors and will always try to have some on hand.
I've got a NL x BB 3 weeks old right now in a new soil and she's loving it. So Maybe by Canada Day I'll have a harvest from her  I'm hoping the cross with BB speeds her up a bit.

So here's to NL
