thanks for the replies. This is my party cup grow and its some kinda hybrid drip style/hempy where I just have perlite in the can and it just drips from the top down. Its only in the 16oz can so I worry about the roots getting too compact or starting to rot since I cannot see them.
I do have a air stone in the water tank part as well.
Since I only have less than one gallon water volume I have been changing it out every 2 days. Should I be leaving it longer? I was wondering if the the plants would eat up all the nutes if I let them go longer due to low water volume.

As i mentioned in the previous post, it's likely to be the other way round

Sounds like the source of your problem. A Gallon is really too small a volume for DWC - i'd increase it for convenience so that clearing only once weekly will suffice.. The problem with a small res volume is that you'll have to clear the system frequently (every 24-48hrs) which is likely to cause some distress at the root-zone, since the plant is having to constantly adapt to the changes made to the reservoir - even only minor differences in irrigation pH between successive toppings can cause irregularities at the root-zone, so spacing the clearing duty will minimize the instability. I'd increase your res volume and go five days to a week between clearing and see how they get on..
Just an update. The issue ended up being my LED was cooking the plants a bit. I have a GLH 290 v2 (I had a V1 perviously) and its really an intense light. If it gets withing about 16 inches of the plants you will see what you saw in the pictures. Not all plants act this way and the 2 Mi5 I had in there didnt show any issues. I downsized the light to a 180W I had and my plants is starting to get better now. I dont know why I didnt snap to that sooner.
