Aloha everyone :)

First micro-indoor project in front of me... And would like to share the setup materials I am aiming for before starting purchasing, if you guys could help a newbie like me not buying stupid stuff it would be great!

I need to stay small and stealth (very!). I've found a Mammoth Pro Micro with a size of 40cm*40cm*80cm (for you my American friends 1 foot 3¾ inches * 1 foot 3¾ inches * 2 feet 7½ inches :P ) that suits me perfectly. I know is small but hey, if people grow in PC cases, why not giving it a go in this tent? :)

Lighting-wise I would love to use LED, but I think that I wouldn't achieve the desired quality with the budget I have... So I think I'll stick to CFL @ 23W:
Growing: Sylvania - 23W 6400°K
Blooming: Sylvania - 23W 6400°K
Will this be enough for this small tent or should I increase to 52W?

Odour control is very important as it will in a central place in the apartment. I've read very good things about Bull Filter active virgin Australian coal filters but... Are they that good? The one I think would be more than enough for such an small setup is the 100 X 150 (200M³/H). This will be connected to a WINFLEX VKO 100 MM that works at 185 M3/H, I guess that the fact that the filter has a greater capacity won't affect negatively? Or should I look to increase out-flow suction? (I'm then worried that the negative pressure will be too great....)

Air-inflow, I've checked the WINFLEX VKO 100 MM, which pushes 105 M3/H. Will the ratio IN:OUT be correct?

Medium-wise, I am looking at coco, but I'm still undecided. This summer was the first time I used it outdoors so I am still reading about it.

Seed-wise I am also still undecided.... But will aim to operate a SCROG of LST tent :)

I would also like to become a bit more precise on my feedings and readings, for which I will be buying a certain amount of equipment (PH meter, moist meter, EC....). But that's the second chapter :)

Hmmmm I think that's pretty much all of it!

Please do share your thoughts and inputs, no hold-backs here, all feedback is good feedback!

Thanks a million for your time!

Happy smoke everyone :)

That's a small space some guys use the quantum boards and put the driver outside. CFL will work, watch the heat and keep them very close. You are going to be doing a lot of LST to keep them less than 450mm tall after allowing for pot and light height. Fun project though.

A 10cm inline fan combined with
Can filters: Can-Lite 1500.(150m3).is a perfect fit for the small tent.. filters last you about 2-3 years.
I use both. Also same brand tent.. (120cm H)
Those small inline fans runs loud..so you need to silence it somehow. If you want stealth.
Stay green

Hello everyone

Thank you so much for your great answers!

Unfortunately the guys who were shipping the tent just told me a few days ago that they can't.... And mammoth don't fabricate them anymore! :( Been to all shops in 100kms around me and no-one can help so I'm looking up in the internet all day hoping to find one suitable for me!

Also, I don't know what happened but seems that some posts got deleted... We had made some developments on the setup:

Finally we're going with CFL 125 watts (2700/6500), but since the tent will be small, we had to tailor-made a reflector that allows enough space for the filter too when all the way up

Regarding filter, we're going with a Bullfilter 200 and as @KsjAuto said, the fan runs reaaaaally loud so we've built a silent box for it and now is much better (the carton is the whole floor size so pretty much everything will fit to the inch) IMG_5642.JPGIMG_5641.JPG

Seed-wise... We're finally going with Sweet Seeds Auto Sweet Trainwreck X and Dinafem Seeds Critical + Auto X,

We're scaling down pot

@gold01ca thanks for the input, any proposals for a Ph meter? Perhaps one that could mesure different parameters?

@Jcloud777 thanks man, hopefully the community will create something nice !

@Rollin_along many of our posts got deleted..... But I still remember that I should tie down the Critical as she will want to grow big! ;)

@archie gemmill Thanks! Those grows look delicious! If I get to 1/10 of that... I'll be a happy man! :)

More to come when I manage to get hold of a tent that fits my size needs!

Thanks

B

the system got stupid drunk last friday, blacked out till monday alls lost im afraid.
lots of 40x40x140 £35 on a well known auction site that dosnt rhyme with a big forrest and a big river.
on ph ec pens...bluelab and acurate8 seem to be the only make that will work this time in three years £80.a crappy £5 yellow pen may last a month or a year but not much longer.the £30 of testing/storage/cleaning fluids are just as important as the pen itself.
good luck n keep er lit.

Thanks for the intel men, really useful!

I'm after a 40*40*80, not 40*40*140... Because it has to go underneath a top table that's at 83cm from the floor... Not so easy to find, if you have some hints I'm more than happy to go for it :)

Thanks again :)

You might struggle to get an exact size , so allways possible to cut down the poles perhaps , depends on your diy skills I guess
