#1 Harvested at the end of the night cycle..
Dry trimmed and jarred up #1 this afternoon. I'll be burping it for a few days, so the 5.4 ounce haul will diminish some. Still very sticky, and pungent aroma. Just about filled a gallon jar:
Mephisto Sundae Thumper #1 after 4 days drying was dry enough to try a first press: 20 grams of bud at 195°F in 90 micron filter tubing. I lost track of time while I was on the phone, but it was at max pressure for maybe 15 minutes, until the rosin stopped flowing. Yield in-the-jar was 3.37 grams, or 16.85%. I'm sure it would have been 20% if i hadn't made such a mess, getting rosin all over the work surface and up to my elbows. It was stickier than my previous batches. I probably should have frozen it before trying to get it off the parchment.
Thanks for the encouragement @N/A-Greengo! It looks pretty blonde in the jar, and a little milky. Maybe there's still some moisture in it? In spite of burping several times a day in front of a fan, the jar was still reading 68% RH at 80°F.
IME , Mephisto Genetics consistently yields blonde rosin extract, unless the heat is to high, or it has quite a bit of age. 68% RH isn't to awfully high, I've definitely pressed at that RH and it has produced excellent rosin!
