New Grower Mephisto Sour Stomper and 3 Bears OG

Howdy and welcome to all. My last attempt at these strains was cut short due to a terrible batch of soil, super hot and fungus gnat infested outta the bag. I binned those babies and after a quick re-boot am ready to rock again.
The setup... 2x4 tent, 15l airpots, 2 Mars hydro 300w LEDs, 4" fan with carbon filter, Sunshine Mix [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG] and Advanced Nutrients.
Today 3/11/17 is officially day 1. Nothing to excited to show, the 3BOG has odd white, raw looking tips on her first set of true leaves. I've seen it in a few journals and it doesn't seem to effect growth. The SS looks great.

I quit using soil over the pre charged bugs. To many places store their soil outside and that always leads to bugs.

@jingo the infected bag was indeed stored outside at a mega nursery near my home, never again. This sunshine mix is from a local indoor hydro shop. I've got a good feeling about it. Thanks for stopping in bro.

I too was worried about bugs thanks to @jingo 's wise info. So when I went to this mom and pops store near me that was one of the few places stocking black gold this early in the season I asked specifically how they store it. Nice to see I walked right into the center of the store and grabbed the 3 bags myself.

Quick update. Day 5. 3 Bears OG's odd white tip growth seems fine, loving the fat indica true leaves. Sour Stomper is a champ, growing like weed.

Thanks for the link bud! The fang tips are an odd trait but just genetics. Looking forward to seeing how these gurls turn out.

Day 8. Small update before this 1/2 tsp canna oil kicks in. Environment is right where I want it, just small waterings here and there with distilled water. The girls look happy and healthy. Diggin the Sunshine Mix [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG] so far. Cheers AFN and Happy Growing!

Nice man, digging the setup, looks so crisp and clean. You are g2g!

One small thing and I'm sure its dumb and probably not a big deal or completely necessary, but... I have heard that putting the temperature monitor on the soil has been known to throw readings off both temp and RH wise. Then again others do it and seem fine. I took mine and threw it wedge between two of my pots and seems to work well.

Will check in on the certain, excellent progress you'll have with you and your Mephisto's!
