no issues standing out, keep on keeping on.
Thank you man! And You are spot on Nosias!
I have been lurking for about six months and just recently signed up so I could interact with amazingly helpful posters like yourself. I am also a huge fan of Mephisto and have been watching/loving their work for the past four years. I respect the hell out of Mitch and his crew. They have a hell of a story and those are the guys that I want to support in every way possible. I honestly can’t wait to start growing but I still have a mountain of due diligence, research and more to do before I begin my journey.
One more quick note... I have slowed down my work in a very creative/difficult field to be a caregiver to My two elderly Parents. Watching them suffer from serious arthritis, multiple joint replacements, lack of stability, constant pain and a laundry list of not so fun ailments really put the fire in me to help them with their daily pains. And honestly, I want to give them the best medicine to help them especially after my Father recently fell, suffered several injuries that left him in the hospital/physical rehab for just over three weeks. It didn’t help that the opioids they had him on for the first four days sent him into a drug induced state of dementia.
So, I’m here at AFN with the best intentions to help my Parents and help ease my pain from several injuries that I had in the military and in my field of work. This community and Breeders like Mephisto mean a lot to me. Can’t wait for their CBD strains and I cannot wait to pop their beans... Until then, I am going to work hard, keep learning, bring a positive attitude and a ton of appreciation for all of you.
And a big shout out to @pop22 for his PMs and help... Serious respect to you!!
And thank you Archie for the good vibes Man!!
I’m growing two of these at the moment and like you have two phenotypes and like you had one that couldn’t make it’s mind up if it wanted to finish. It’s now on day 85 and I’m glad I kept it going because it’s fattened up nicely during the last week of nutes. Just got to hope I don’t have any bud rot in the main top cola/bud as it’s huge! Probably a coke can and a half thick! The other one opened up nicely to create a even canopy of similar sized buds.Indoor. Both plants are on day 65. In the same soil, same sized pot, same nutes.
One is super healthy and ready to chop (all milky). Rock hard buds with not much sugar leaves (easy to trim).
And this is freak one. Heavier yielder, but seem she don't have plan to finish soon. No brown hairs yet and some strange bud formations. Also seems to be fluffy.
You're a good Kid!Thank you man! And You are spot on Nosias!

you talking Cbd or Thc or both? ThanksYou're a good Kid!
I have had really good luck treating numerous family members that are aged and ill with numerous sicknesses/disease, with coconut oil infused with my cannabis. I use only the flowers, and I make it strong... Several have told me that it has made such a difference in their lives, helping them get off of the bad stuff, and helping them with their pain, even more than the opiates did, considering "No bad side affects" with the cannabis.
I needed to make suppositories for my wife, who has cancer. The cannabis suppositories helped to shrink her tumor much more than the surgeon had anticipated with chemo alone. Ended up being enough shrinkage that it saved her from having to wear a Stoma for the rest of her life.
Only one family member has stated that my Green Monster didn't help him any, but he is a special case.
Cannabis can be, and is, a miracle drug sometimes.
Beast mode! Toof Decay can get large if given the space and right conditions. I never had 12oz Toof Decay, killer job my friend! If you restrict the root system they stay small, almost SOG if done in very small pots. Give that plant more space and she will grow MUCH larger. Some strains are like that. Actually if I remember correctly Mitch even had that in the description of Toof Decay, and its true. Can be very frosty and stanky. I actually underestimated the size the first time I did that strain because Mitch said it could be ran SOG so I started more than wound up fitting in the 4x4 I dedicated to them at the time. My first 3 Mephisto strains were 24 Carat, Toof Decay, and Sour Crack because I had my Total Hip Replacement at that time and wanted fast, small, Indica based strains for pain relief and easy grow matainace. Some of the Toof Decays got much larger than expected, in small pots of Coco. The 24 Carat and Sour Cracks stay smaller in small pots. I had to move some of the Toof Decays into my larger tents once flowering was going. Peace, slowI haven’t seen a real big Toof Decay posted anywhere so I thought I would this one. She was grown notill style and the seed was directly planted to the final container. This plant was the second grown in this undisturbed soil. I use homemade compost, homemade leaf mold, and homemade vermicompost. I use 10 gallon containers that are designed to wick moisture up from the bottom, in addition to being top water. This plant was grown water only. No teas or foliars sprays or any liquid used, besides warm tap water. She grew 43” tall and finished in 83 days. She yielded 351 grams of dried top notch buds. The best bud quality of any large plant I have grown. I used 2 -40 watt cob lights. One above, the other as angled side light. Plants were turned 2x a day, 1/4 turn.
Here she is fresh from grow room.
I let her finish without a lot of defoliation, but inner and lower leaves were removed for good light penetration.
I removed some more leaves to show what’s really there. Here are a few whole plant shots.
She was super frosty.
This next one shows how nice and fat the main cola is.
There were 18 branches besides the main cola. Just fat and chunky loaded with frost.
Here is a profile shot of some side branches. As everyone has noticed I used a lot of Velcro for branch support. I also feel the extra support helps the buds swell more.
Here is a nice frosty shot of the cola.
After drying 2 weeks but before final trim and breaking down buds, this is what a typical side branch cola looked.
I didn’t expect a plant this big going into this grow. It was a fun and interesting surprise to have her grow into such a whopper. I have grown a lot of “big” plants over the years, but this one is the frostiest big one so far. The bud quality is also the highest for big plants that I have grown. This one has the same quality that I regularly get with small 1/4 lb plants.
cheers
