Looking good! I don't think I could have left her alone. I would have had to at least spread out all the side colas. LOL!
What method do you think gives most production on a typical indica structured girl, topping or just LST?
I don't have a real good late stage solo pic of my gelato that got LST only that had the same high leaf to bud as yours, but I do for the indica GG#4. that got only LST also.
She had almost no larf at all.

I haven't topped yet. They did go long, but I had 15gal and 7 gal pots. They stayed short, but very nice even canopy. I think the better quality of bud is a big plus for LST. That GG#4 had almost no larf and I'm sure the gelato would have had more sub par bud if I had not trained her. The gelato main cola that was laid over was massively fat at the top. Frost was great on all of the colas.I'm still quite a novice really and have switched methods 3 times since starting 2 and a half years back. In that time I've not really done as much training as I could due to ongoing issues with the grow. I would say topping and LST (strain dependant) work well together but I found I slowed mine down even more so than normal lol so scrapped the LST a while back in favour of just topping What do you reckon?

I'm growing 2 Hubbabubbasmelloscope next in Regular EarthBoxes with Roc's Purple Kong probally in a 15 gal pot, unless I buy another Earthbox.
I think I'll LST the HBSS early in life, but she's a more sativa. Maybe some early LST will help her from being such a clusterf*ck. LOL!
Purple Kong is gonna be my little sub and treated so for her whole life!
