I'm honestly not sure I don't belive so that's something I noticed and is the only I don't want to say negitive bc it's more hash or edibles but ya that pheno is leafier than I like but it's only @ f2 he actually said after chopping that even with a low leaf ratio it's not a wet trim strain as the resin is so much each leaf had to be pulled from the scissors but I will be working on that when I run the f3s I saw similar in pineapple crack @ f2 which is now at f4 but after the f3s didn't show back up so I will do the same with this Gorilla squach f2 but wasn't sure how good it was as me and 1 other has grown this particular strain so wasn't sure if I should work it but it seems like it's an overwhelming yes lol so far there a 3 distinct phenos and this 1 and the glue heavy 1 are my favorite and probably continue both similar to the zkittles x grapefruit which im working 3 phenos fromView attachment 1289356
Looking nice and frosty. I can tell it is killer weed. It looks like it would be a difficult trimming strain, though, with the high leaf to calyx ratio. Was that due to lower wattage during flowering?
I use to think that but honestly it's not difficult time consuming but not hard I use to think I couldn't do all kinds of stuff like building car motors growing cannabis growing mushrooms ect but I decided I wasn't going to allow anything to stop me if I could access the material ect I see alot of people who doubt themselves but anyone can do anything someone else does once I realized I was defeating myself before trying things clicked and I now bring that to everything I do and when I mess up all I focus on is how to fix it lol I also like to learn how to do things different ways as u can really break down the processes and gain a bunch of info I love it I also love to tinker with stuff so breeding is all those things which is why I love it also the possibilities of wat you can find in any seed you grow its so fun! If you had some room I bet you would do well with it for sure brotha. That sounds like a great plan, Fitz. If you can keep that same plant structure but increase the calyx to leaf ratio, the density of those buds would be scary! I am so impressed by folks like you who can do stuff like that.
All I can do is give suggestions! Lol!
ANYONE CAN DO ANYTHING (with obvious limits if someone is mentally or physically impaired, then it might only be a road block) you just need to try.I use to think that but honestly it's not difficult time consuming but not hard I use to think I couldn't do all kinds of stuff like building car motors growing cannabis growing mushrooms ect but I decided I wasn't going to allow anything to stop me if I could access the material ect I see alot of people who doubt themselves but anyone can do anything someone else does once I realized I was defeating myself before trying things clicked and I now bring that to everything I do and when I mess up all I focus on is how to fix it lol I also like to learn how to do things different ways as u can really break down the processes and gain a bunch of info I love it I also love to tinker with stuff so breeding is all those things which is why I love it also the possibilities of wat you can find in any seed you grow its so fun! Absolutely agree brotha it's true I wonder why we as people do that and why it's so difficult to break the habit of looking at something and being overwhelmed human behavior is so fascinating for sureANYONE CAN DO ANYTHING (with obvious limits if someone is mentally or physically impaired, then it might only be a road block) you just need to try.
I lived a significant portion of my younger life (still under 40) in fear of failing and SEVERELY limited myself. With the internet now, there is no excuse. Watch youtube, go to a forum etc... there is answers out there now, you just need to try! I went from could barely change a lightbulb to doing all my own tractor work and helping people build my house. I'm not all the way there yet, and still have mental blocks, but Im trying to smash em' as they come to me. This seed breeding is one, and i might find my way to that corner of the world if Meph and Night Owl keep being hard to get
It's uncomfortable at first, but once you get your first few new experiences out of the way, and find even a little success its addicting! Being self reliant is the most amazing thing you can do for yourself.
Have two quotes from teachers that I'll never forget and I remember when I am getting intimidate by an idea.
"If you know more than 30% of the job, you're overqualified"
"If you are uncomfortable, you are probably LEARNING"
Sorry to derail, but doing things for myself, rather than sitting in the shadows or paying someone out of fear, HAS BEEN LIBERATING IN ALL AREAS OF MY LIFE. Be comfortable not knowing, be okay with fucking everything up! You will be better off for it.
Awsome! Love to hear that brotha you will absolutely love it and it's alot of fun as for Ace seeds I'm so ready it's 1 of the only companies I 100% will be buyingI'm a big fan of the work your doing here @Fitzy I really want to get into making some crosses of mephisto stock. Also doing some work with photos but primarily focusing on autos. Thanks for the inspiration anyways. Those ace strains look amazing too. I've been drooling over some of their stuff for months just haven't pulled the trigger. I'm a bit of a seedalholic like many here and my backlog is filled for years.
