Indoor Mephisto/ my crosses

I here you I finally got done putting my replacement motor together so going to start it tonight after I button up some stuff still gotta put on axle and the 2 bolts to hold exhaust to the header so I'm almost ready after finding a bunch of parts that were failing so it was a blessing really. Ya ur going to love them for sure.

I hear car talk. Picked this up two weeks ago. 67 Chevelle rag top. Rust free, dash and rear deck crack free, running 287 . 100% original. She's gonna get new disc brakes , suspension ( coil over), and an LS swap. The cosmetics will be last. And the cigarette lighter works, lol!!

Love my little shop! This place was on the market for almost a year because of this shop. With the shop, it was a pretty narrow market. Perfect for me!

Man add a bed room ect up top I would never leave lol but I'm looking for something similar as I really don't want to do much else everyone told me if u enjoy working on cars don't do it for work but I think that mixed with some genetics would be perfect for me as both I can do all day till I ache and hurt sop much I gotta stop, I am constantly lost in my work to where I loose track of time so bad I have dinner only lol but I get into it and as they say time flies when your having fun so hopefully I will get there sooner rather than later lol I finished putting my motor together after a head stud failure so should be back mobile again just doing small stuff now bc I found stuff that was failing ect so I've been going over everything a few times check out this cam gears adjustable part the ears on backside are cracked I found other stuff also so taking extra precautions

That looks adjustable. Had a guy that wanted me to use a set of adjustable cam gears on a 4.6DOHC Ferd. I told him I wasn't building it then. He got steamed and found someone that would. It lasted about two weeks. It was bad enough, but the guy would throw the car up on a two-step and let it hang there. Did the two-step cause the failure, not really. It just made the failure come quicker.
Thank god I can adjust cam timing with a damn keystroke now! LOL!

I have a tuning program which allows realtime programming so I can fully tune it I just wanted to be able to degree this setup considering I have a hybrid motor that never came factory I wish I had a k series 50degrees cam timing adjustments are possible through ecu and the vtc it controls on that 4.6 is similar as far as tuning is concerned and adj timing gears are unnecessary so I would have said the same let me gess he is the kinda guy that want dyno numbers lol instead of real data, did he have a real reason to need them like me using diffrent crank rods in a different oem block running a piston that is one but with this combo gives me 11:5:1 comp and I have a mild cam which is know to make power but bc of the mismatch timing is generally off buy a degree or so. Interestingly I've not seen these fail often on these motor with boost or with out but honda people are above and beyond when it comes to parts, research, and tuning I wish Chevy or ford would take a k20a type r motor and use some of it design wise and make a vtec v8 with the same vtc mechanism or similar a 6.0Liter ls that you can adjust cam timing +/- 50 degrees in the ecu would be epic. Your 4.6 is the 4valve right a buddy put a t56 in his mark8 Lincoln which had the quad cam 4.6 in it he ran a procharger so it was a fun street car and comfy lol wish I had money to play with I know cars arnt a good investment but I love them!

They aren't a good investment , they are a great investment!!! Last auction I watched an early 90's supra go for 80k! 80 fuking k!!! Roll a Honda 2000 across the block and watch the bids. 80's and 90's cars are growing in $$. I'm not an import guy but certain cars hold a place in my heart growing up, the Supra turbo is one, along with the Mitsu conquest turbo. These cars have been climbing in popularity and $$$. The 80's kids finally have some disposable $$.

My Holy grail is the Grand National. My dad was looking for company cars and I saw it in the showroom. After my dad and I lied to the Buick sales guy , telling him I was old enough to drive I got to drive one off the floor for a test drive. I just turned 15. There was a brand new neighborhood being built behind the dealership where they test drove. I can still see the look on that guys face in the rear view mirror when I went into that first corner and hammered the gas early coming out smoking the tires for about a football field! He's in the back seat with his arms spread out bracing himself, screaming slow down!!, slow down!! Please don't do that to the tires!!!
My Dad....get on it son let's see what she's got! That salesman was pasty white and swearing when we pulled back in the lot. To this day when I see a Grand National I get a bit emotional, lol. And fyi I started driving at 10, so I wasn't some clueless teenager.

I found a T Type about an hour from here in a farm yard. He keeps saying he won't sell it......yet. It will be mine.

Grand national is 1 of my favorite cars of all 87 asc version love them and ya I grew up with a buddy who's dad had a farm where he parted out everything from helicopters and planes to cars trucks ect and all kinds of cool stuff Bentleys BMW's alpha Romeo Toyota supras 300zx old 60s cars anything that had a motor he would look @ buying so we got to drive all kinds of cool cars and the beaters (some not so much) we f or to jump and demolition derby them so fun wish I could go back feild car ripping is so fun man such good times.

Hell yeah!! That sounds like a blast! Getting to drive so many different cars is awesome! I took a sales job at a VW dealership when I was younger because they moved more used/trade in's in the area at that time, and I wanted to drive as many cars as I could.

The Phaeton is an awesome car, the Touareg V10 Diesel was an incredible torque beast!
But the R 32 was one of the the best factory cars I've ever driven. Bucket list car. I took a corner at 80 that was posted at 30. Stuck to road like glue. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face all day.
