Day 63 - We are chugging into the finish here! I've started to taper off on the feed and moved down to 1g of MegaCrop and 1g of sweet candy.
She has been bulking up nicely. She still has a great citrus smell to her, but now I'm not getting the fuel kick at the end.
I'm checking trichs daily at this point as they have started to get about 50% cloudy. I think I'm going to take 3/4 of the buds down at about 5-10% amber and let the last 1/4 go for a little longer until maybe 20-25%>
Thanks for stopping in bro! I am keeping it simple with just a few nutes by @Greenleaf Nutrients and things seem to go alright.
I'm going to shut down the tent for this year as soon as my blue krush is done, but when I am back up in January I think I'll add a PK boost so hopefully even chunkier nugs with less foliage.
Did a staggered harvest on this girl starting at day 63 took a branch down that was showing a few ambers. The branch from day 63 is dried and in the jar sitting at 60% humidity. She was just under 7g, so I imagine I'll have a nice 40-50g yield.
Took a few more down at 5% amber on day 65 and 66. I finished at about 15-20% amber on my last chops Day 68 and 69(today).
I was going to do a smoke report on that sample nug, but I decided wait and do the official one with cured bud. Going to go ahead with a quick review here on the sample.
It's a very orange dominated scented, but as I mentioned before the fuel smell seems to have disappeared. It has been replaced with hints of dog shit, which is weirdly appealing in bud that starts off citrus like. The spouse stated they caught a whiff every time the fan blew near the buds. The smoke is very nice and smooth. It burns a nice white ash, so that's going to be great for when we get a complete cure. The high starts off fairly heady making it difficult to keep focus on anything for too long. A few puffs into the 2nd bowl the high starts to settle in the body and you are back in focus. This is definitely sativa leaning smoke, but bowls 3 and 4 can definitely help you get to bed much easier.
