Well, since you asked, I'll weigh in on this topic as well. With MC & AutoPots I've had zero issues with slim, sludge or line clogging. In fact, the liquid in the aquavalve trays is surprisingly clear. This did not change when I added Sweet Candy & Bud Explosion -- although I've had to stir up the brew harder & longer before adding to the reservoir because the Sweet Candy takes a little longer for its crystals to breakdown and fully dissolve.how are the pots and pipes ect with megacrop is there any issues with the auto pots blockages ect as some feed turns gloupy im just curious i use remo it works quite well
Only when I occasionally add some Cal-Mg (I'm using GH at the moment) do I notice the reservoir getting a bit of surface discoloration and separation -- but nothing that's caused any problems with the tubes/lines.
On day 48 I finally purchased and starting adding Drip-Clean to the reservoir. This is my first time with Drip-Clean. I didn't need it, but thought I should have and use it everytime I'm running a tube feeding system (AutoPots or Blumats) --- just seems like good protocol.
I feel the MegaCrop approach takes me a big step closer to my goals of reducing complexity, labor time and cost -- but quality & yield are more important, and since this is my first time with Mega, I'll have to wait for harvest to see how it all pans out.
