New Grower Mephisto genetics/night owl seeds

Update on the tent. We got birthdays !

Blue Microverse was topped yesterday. Shes lookin healthy but a little small for her age, which has me slightly concerned.

A germed Blue Microverse X Wizards Apprentice from Night Owl Seeds was put in a rooting cube yesterday morning in a 2.2 gal airpot and sprouted late last night. I'm calling today officially day 1 for her. I didnt measure out the amount of soil I used per brand but used Sohum living soil, Happy Frog and Roots Organics with some shredded coco fiber as well. roughly Close to half of the mix is Roots organics soil. Also added a little bit of Earthshine from GreenGro Biologicals.

A Sour Livers was put down in a rooting cube yesterday. I didnt germ her in a paper towel like I normally do. Instead I soaked her rooting cube with ph adjusted water , mammoth p. Green aminos and some Brix and placed the seed directly in the cube. Shes in a 2.2 gal airpot as well.

I also have 4 auto New York Diesels , from Barneys Farm I believe , that I'm gonna try a potentially dumb experiment with since I'm not as stoked for those over the other seedlings. They have been in a wet paper towel with a light sprinkle of great white mycorrhizae for a few days , they were put in a paper towel at the same time as my BMxWA. 2 of them have barely cracked and the other 2 still seem dormant. When 3 of them are lookin ready to go down, they will share a single rooting cube in a 0.4 gallon pot , and 1 will get it's own ghetto pot made from a milk carton.

CDLC and Exodus Cheese finally look like their focusing on their budsites. They havent recieved any bloom nutes since their first feed of nutes back around the 32 day mark. Since then it's just been ph adjusted water, mammoth p, green aminos and Brix.

Following nowadays. Looking great!!
Question: why do you use mammoth p before flower? Its my current understanding its developed less of a rooting boost and more microbes to make locked-up phos plant available.

Ive done the great white on seeds. Personally, id suggest to let them go a week or 2 first. Have some roots to innoculate first, then i put a lil dash in the water every time i water. If i had mammoth, id likely switch to alternating the 2 in flower.

Thanks for following along @HypatheticalGardener ! I probably don't need to use the mammoth p before flower , or every watering like I have been. I began using mammoth p during veg a couple months back when I had 2 small plants around the same age as each other. I gave 1 mammoth p in tap water and the other got only plain water for a little bit. The one that recieved the mammoth p seemed to be growing a bit faster and was a better shade of green, which led me to the conclusion I should use a little mammoth during veg as well. And for the great white myco I think I'll take your word and ease up on it , as my results germing using great white have been fairly inconsistent so far

Good to know about the veg results. Thanks for that. And i think giving the great white to the seeds/germs is just too much too soon. That being said i still cant resist the urge to put a dash in the soil 2 inches around the seed. [emoji23][emoji23]

For sure bro, and I know what your saying with putting the great white in the soil around the seed. It's not always needed but I've done it so much its sort of become a ritual now lol

We got a birthday today ! Sour livers broke ground this morning , bout 3ish days after the seed was put Into her rooting cube. I think I'll continue to germinate my seeds this way versus the paper towel method.

Hey yall I'm lookin for some input/ educated guesses on my creme de la chem. Shes currently on day 52 and I'm not seeing any frost at all yet. When I grew her out last time her preflowers waisted no time and got right to work. I was hoping to not have to use any/ too much extra bloom nutes this run since shes growing in a hot mix of soil and has the extra greengro biologicals added in too, but I just gave her another light feed of tiger bloom and overdrive. Before that her only feed of bloom nutes was around the 32 day mark. My suspicion is that its linked to the lack of bloom nutes.
- I'm wondering if the huge difference in the speed of bud development would be linked to lack of extra bloom nutes early on in flower or potentially just a different phenotype ? Has anyone else grown out cdlc and had her go till her 50's before she started focusing on her flowers?

First photo is of my current cdlc, 2nd photo is of my first run of her for comparison

May just be the pheno. Longer running strain.
Alternatively, theres always giving a lil molasses/sugar... I personally feed molasses periodically throughout all of flower.

Thanks for your input HG,
I have been giving her sugars periodically. Idk if the plants use it up the same as molasses but my cdlc and exodus cheese have been getting a once weekly drink of terpinator with their normal mammoth p/green aminos/ Brix mix for the last 2 weeks. They get the terp at 20ml terpinator per gallon. Last time they got the terpinator was about 5 days ago. I wouldn't mind a different pheno , I just hope she doesent take too much extra time to wrap things up compared to last run

I havent really used nutes other than dry amends/molasses with the exception of mc/be. So i have NO idea on terpinator.
Ive had some plants wait till the last week or 2 to really frost up. I've had others start frosting at first pistils. She'll do what shes gunna do.

Yeah I get what you mean, you cant rush or speed up the plant any lol. I believe you might have already mentioned it in your thread but what brand dry amends do you use ? That's the direction I'm trying to go by using the sohum soil and GreenGro biologicals. But the GG bloom mix doesent seem to be doing a whole lot , that's why I'm back using tiger bloom and overdrive
