@wwwillie
Here's another weekly update:

Environment:
79°
55% RH

GWK:
Has been moving right along now. Growing around an inch everyday and has a nice root system going on. The low pH isn't really much of an issue anymore. Although the target is 5.8, it has been close and not really out of an unhealthy range.

Current numbers are:

256ppm
71°
5.6ph
11 1/2"

Things are going pretty well now and everything seems more stable. I feel we have the ppm right about where it needs to be. The last couple grows we experienced Nitrogen toxicity, so we wanted to have a more mindful approach towards it this time. It seems to be working for sure.

That's all I got. Make sure you (if you celebrate st Patrick's day that is) enjoy some corn beef and cabbage, and have some Jameson, and Guinness this weekend. I know I will.

I will for sure. Just not corned beef and cabbage that we grew up with. Being Irish and having parents that really did not or could not I suppose cook, really turned me off to the whole thing. So quite a while ago I made this substitution! corned beef Ruben sandwiches. Sauerkraut is cabbage and I love a good Ruben so that’s what I’ll be adding to my Guinness and Bushmills.

I just recently found out that I am 53% Scotch Irish (My Heritage DNA test). I also don't care much for boiled dinner. We hot smoke a corned beef brisket on the kettle bbq using maple or alder wood. Oh yeah and Old Bushmills...................

Just make sure you get this one:

Getting the good stuff MIGHT make up for not being 100% pureblood
