New Grower Mephisto Blue Cush, White Crack, Grapey Walter, Sweet Seeds Cream Caramel

Day 69 for grapey and white, 52 for cream caramel. Hope to get some out of tent shots tonight. Hey @Roasty McToasty , I’ve been looking at your thread on the grapeys and sour hounds. You harvested day 75 and mentioned you’d like to have let them go another week. You think somewhere in the eighties would have been better? I’m just trying to get a feel for when to start a flush on them. Not concerned with a lot of amber. Buds are thick and heavy, real frosty. Very few white pistils on upper buds and lots of cloudy trichs

Top left- WC, right is GW, both day 70, with cream caramel, day 53, in her little hempy. I’m hopeful 10 - 15 more days and the big girls come down. They’re getting heavy and bending branches. CC beginning to throw out some frost.

WC. She’s a thick girl.

CC sporting the wind burn look. Had a fan slide down a corner post and hammered the top for a few hours. She’s been getting frosty the last week or two. I may let her go awhile to amber up. My first blue cush grow I estimated maybe 1%, so I may shoot for around 25%.

White Crack, left, Grapey Walter, middle & right, got the chop on day 82. They were showing a touch of amber and the window of opportunity presented itself, so down they went. RH 57%, temp around 67. Decided to just remove fans and do a full plant hang. Cream caramel is sitting outside the tent under a cob waiting to get back in after the dry. Day 66 for her. Hope to have some yield numbers by next weekend :headbang:

I let them dry for seven days and started the trimming and jarring. These two were super sticky. Had to clean my trimmers several times during the process. Started with the Grapey Walter, beginning with the bottom branches working to the top. By the time I got to the main cola on the White Crack I was a tired little pup. I started on the approx 8” long cola and there it was, f#*king mold!! About 2” down from the top was the start of it and it extended along the main stem for about an 1-1/2”.
I salvaged all I could, but made sure I removed all of it by probably trimming away more than I needed to. I immediately went back over everything and found what may have been a small spot in another white crack bud. Maybe, maybe not, but I wasn’t taking any chances.
I thought I had plenty of ventilation and air movement. I looked them over good before harvest and didn’t see anything. I’ll take a few more precautions next time.
Anyhow, it was a good grow. Ended with 87g of GW and 82g of WC, dry weight. I figure about 5g of WC lost to the mold. So, approx 6oz of super frosty potent bud :smoking: Cream Caramel, day 74, is back in the tent with around two weeks to go.

Should do some training on it LST them next time

I may try LST in a future grow just for the experience and fun of it. I just grow for myself and am afraid with lst I would increase my yield, which is a great thing but something I don’t need. With just these two first grows I’ve got more than I need for a while. But I love growing:smokeit:
