Lighting MedGrower does HS1 grow - Mazar (Photosensitive / DWC)

DAY 61 (Flowering for 34 days)

pH 6.1
EC 1.2
RH 50
Tmax / Tmin : 26.5 C / 25.3 (DIF 1,2)

HS1's are approx. 20cm away from the capony

EC had risen to 1.2 from 1.1. Tomorrow it's going to be a start for the PK13/14 -week so I guess I will reduce the EC at the same time, basicly reducing the basenutes a lot while adding the PK. Since now the 5th week of flowering is over how do you think these babies are doing as far as the bud formation? I am not sure if that's going to result any large buds. Nevertheless I calculated about 30 colas total so if I would get about 5 grams of dry from each, that would be 150g total and I would be happy.

Douplepost time! DAY 62 (Flowering for 35 days)

I turned my old cellphone camera into a microscope and started taking some pictures as a test. Here is how the microscopic world of one upper/frontal bud from Rightie there looks like. As the buds are so tiny little and fattening up now I though to see how the clear tricomes look like. Turns out there was allkinds of tricomes, even some what seems amber ones! I wonder if this is just because they are closest to the lights?

I totally forgot to list my PK -weeks feed. This is the mix I gave them on saturday;

21 litres solution

Canna Aqua Flores 12ml (0.6 per litre)
Canna PK 13/14 30ml (1.4 per litre)
Canna Cannazyme 45ml (2.1 per litre)
Canna Boost 75ml (3.6 per litre)
Essentials Silicon+ 60ml (3 ml per litre)
Canna Mono Mg 6ml (0.3 per litre)
Canna Mono Cal 6ml (0.3 per litre)

EC 1.1 (0.1 water, 0.3 calmag, 0.7nutes)

Hey guys! I see the buds are fattening up now, I will do pictures soon. I have a question thought. After the PK week there should be a week or so of casual feeding still. I wonder would it be wise to have it be lesser strength than what I had the feed this week? Maybe around 0.9 ec instead of 1.1 what it is now?

After that I will do 2 weeks of final flushing. I am always little unsure when would be best time to start it. Maybe you could give your opinion on that. I will start doing more regular updates on this while we are moving closer to that window, along with the tricome pics.

Bro, you can feed in full scale till 5-7 days prior harvest. It is hydro and final flush is very fast, max in one week your plant will be free of any chemicals build-ups. There is no need to lower EC till flush, let her eat as much as she could, this will turn to more bud mass.
For final flush you may use some flush agent, any will do. In hydro you do not need 2 weeks of flushing. I even tried NOT to flush one time - buds were nice, smoke was mild and ashes were light - colored, all signs that there were not much NPK left in these buds. That was only one time, im flushing all other plants, but what i want to say, that in hydro all these things are going much faster.
Show us that bud porn :jointman:

BTW trichs are still clear, so do not be in a hurry to cut everything off. It's still in middle flowering now, i think you will see another waves of flowers growing on these buds.

Appriciate you guiding me here, Marimar. I figured we are about 3 weeks away but lets see in couple weeks. Maybe I've previously gone and chopped these babies too early. The pistils are browning out already but I guess we don't have to mind about that. I want to try to push maximum load out of these babies without losing the quality. Also my patient is not gonna so patient anymore soon..

Seems the plant has started to lose it's appetite some since the EC turned 1.2 from 1.1. So I did change the EC to 1.0 and it seems happy there. So I guess I go with that for next two weeks! Guess I started that PK week a bit too early, eh? Well I might do another week of feeding PK13/14 and lesser basenutes. Not sure if that would be wise.
