You seat the bar high MeeCzech! Great looking harvest...
Haven't tried the Grove bags, putting on list.
Grove bags are a MUST nowadays. Perfect curing every time and zero loss of terpines or trichome degradation.
Not expensive either. Definitely go to get these bro. :headbang:
Thanks a lot on the grow. I actually had lots of issues in this grow. Overall, the product quality looks good, just the quantity isn’t there.

Well, had a small issue…

Powdery mildew hit the room, but I was prepared quickly with a solution of baking soda, neem oil and water. Sprayed them down heavy, even the buds. Then you just need to hit it hard with some air. I have plenty of fan strength with 4 fans. I just needed to adjust.

To avoid any issues with Fuchsia, I chopped her top and raised her up to finish up.

Double Grape. Looking frosty as hell!!

Only a few left on the room now. Small scare with the powdery mildew, but I should be just fine. This solution works pretty well, and pretty much does it on one application if you just soak them down pretty good. It only took like 5 minutes standing there focusing the fans and turning up the power a little.

Hopefully crisis averted:shooty:i guess it was just my fault not having good enough air flow.

Just like I thought guys, crisis is averted.

Powdery mildew can be dealt with rather easily. It was my fault. The other day when I was chopping Brûlée and Lila, the two circulation fans got moved and I never put them back properly. Air flow got poor and quickly the mold came up in two days!

This is why you need your supplies on hand at all times. Baking soda and Neem Oil are a MUST to have around.

A quick solution of 1 Tbsp/Gal baking soda, and 2.5 Tbsp/Galllon Neem oil, mix with water and spray plants. They can be sprayed heavily Guy’s, it rains outside, it won’t hurt them at all. Then you hit them hard with fans to dry out solution. Mine dried in like 5 minutes. That’s it guys :joy: All good now.

I’ve actually seen it go away after you just fix the circulation issue, but always spray! Plants look perfect this morning.

There is actually an added benefit for spraying them with this solution. A fungicide and a pesticide, and it has one secret added benefit. If the plant is extra stinky, the solution definitely reduces the smell with out hurting anything on the plant. Don’t spray your plants down more than one time per week, unless they are outdoor and are getting rained on. Too much baking soda could add a little too much sodium for the plant to handle. Once per week or every other week to control pests or fungus is acceptable, but as always, keep an eye on them to be sure.

Hey there! This is some good info I'm definitely throwing in my notes. Glad you were able to get the PM handled. I usually always have this stuff on hand. Although I thought it was ill advised to spray buds with neem oil as it will stay on them through harvest? Do you wash your plants at harvest if you end up having to spray them with this? I have some neem oil spray for emergency infestation or PM in veg phase but I've always avoided using it on the buds or anything flowering.

Great recovery!

There is almost no oil really visible at that dilution. I only mixed up a small spray bottle and used about a tsp or so.
It really does work. The Neem oil just helps it stick better.
I used a water soluble version of Neem oil. Neem oil Max. It’s a little lighter perhaps.

It really does work.

I will clarify that mix solution…

I used Neem Oil Max, a water soluble version. You can use a little less if you like.

I only mixed up a small spray bottle, butI used a 1/2 tsp of baking soda and about a tsp of the Neem Max.

The oil isn’t and shouldn’t be visible at all if the mixture is correct.

I will post a photo of leaves to show you what they look like.
they really just look like someone dusted them with the baking soda, but very lightly and very evenly.

Here’s the photo of the leaves after using the spray, now two days on…

Looking perfect and no signs of the powdery mildew at all.

I added a bit more air flow around the entire room and that really made a difference.

Charlotte, Runtz from Barney’s Farm, still hanging in there and adding weight after all her troubles :joy:

Aurora looking good, adding weight each day. She’s definitely going to take a long time. At least another 3-4 weeks, putting her in the 120-130 day plant

Dry Room Update: Day 3 in the dry room had most plants looking like they were about half way through the drying process.

It’s a nice stable dry room and I have this app to help keep track of what’s going on. My sensor is located at the highest level of my dry rack. This is the best dry room I have ever had. It’s really perfect.

Well, that’s all for now. I will keep you updated on the chop of the girls that are left. Maybe next weekend?!:toke:

Thanks for stopping by:thanks:

Day 99-89 “I can see the finish line”

All is well. Did some more defoliation here right at the end to discourage any more powdery mildew, and get ready for the last 7-10 days on all of them except Aurora.

Cleaned out Aurora as good as I could. She still has a ways to go. She probably won’t give very high quality bud, but I can try to make some bubble hash or even potentially press her if she has enough resin, we shall see.
I have seen plants like her before, they often just give you a low THC low trichome bud.

I can’t wait to restart this whole process. My new set up and grow room is yet to be built in the same relative space, but I will be much improved and hopefully I should avoid the issues I did in this first grow!

Charlotte is actually going to have some nice buds. Very crusty and smells awesome. Runtz is always a solid strain and Barney’s Farm version is solid.

Double Grape took a hit from the powdery mildew, in terms that I just trimmed some stuff I didn’t want to spread, mostly fan leaves…

There were three plants, the CDLC, the other Double Grape, and the Sour Stomper x Double Grape that are in dry room. They are being trimmed right now and will be posted with a report soon for weight and photos.

Thanks for stopping by :thanks:
