Sweet Seeds Me and my Sweet Dark Devil alone at last!

As auto's are improving over the years and now being grown under led perhaps there is more leeway in how you grow them, won't know until we try I suppose.

I'm hoping to start the next grow in the bigger tent with the Vipar COB flanked by 2 of the new GN units, one on either side.

For sidelighting I've got a couple of 13w led strips so I'm probably going to do it wrong, cut the leaves off and have bud all the way up after 100 days!

Next grow is in a taller/wider/thinner tent so I can grow two plants if I defoliate, one if I don't, major conundrum lol.

Hmmm, Considering that you pay for the same lighting either way, ???

Looking awesome Bilbo, she filled that tent right up!

Funny enough in the new tent I'll actually be able to drop the lighting times down from 24/0 since I'll have more control over the temps.

I've decided to grow two Vision Seeds Northern Lights Autos, one defoliated, one not and see which turns out the best.

At least then I'll know what's best for my unique environment, fingers crossed the leafless one wins since it's so bloody boring not being able to fuss over the ladies for hours every day! :)

That's going to be a show. I'm kicked back for it.
I was just looking at some Vision NL at about 22 days. They look like solid genetics. Both identical, like clones.

I defoliated my tops too. Probably removed 40-50% of fan leaves in one go. My girl showed very little signs of stress. Fuck, even while supercropping about a month ago, I managed to completely snap the top cola, it was hanging from a string, 7 nodes down from the apex, I grabbed a toothpick and some tape and splinted her, and was able to remove the splint 5 days later. She showed very little scarring as you can see below, but it did mean I ended up with a taller plant then I would have had if I never snapped her, because I had to splint her vertically instead of at 90 degrees. She showed very little sign of stress too. I always train before I feed, my philosophy is train them the feed them directly to cut down on stress. It's the first time I ever snapped a branch while supercropping, and I done a lot of that in the past in my 26" tall micro box with photos.

This pic is from now, I circled the scar.

As you can see her tops above the snap seem to be just fine, again, pic from now.

I really didn't anticipate such a big plant, she is like 25% bigger than the maximum advertised for indoors, growing more like an outdoor plant in this airpot. I basically had no option but to torture her. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do...

I'm just starting to find my feet now growing, I've got to experiment as well as listen to experience, just can't help myself lol.

I promise you Bilbo. Once you get growing the experiments just never seem to end ;)
