Lighting Maximising yield in 60x60x170 grow tent?

To maximize such a small area, scrog is your answer. Under good quality led 1.8 grams per watt is doable. With your current light that puts you with a max around 210 grams (dried and trimmed). That's close to half an elbow. That's asking quite a bit of a small area. Most strains run 500 to 600 grams a sq meter. (Breeders #s) your tent is .3 of a square meter. I'm guessing the tent is capable of 150 to maybe 200 grams.

@Autoireland i cant advise you with the lights but i remembered your girls from outside so thought i would pop in and say hello and at least now you can control your conditions instead of relying on the sun and i look forward to seeing you smash it pal :pass: :headbang:

cheers man  that black jack was going to be a lovely plant if that torrential rain hadn’t of come along, it makes me sad to think about it to this day haha :frowny: on the positive side of things the little bit of popcorn bud I salvaged was very nice smoke:baked:

Cool man thanks for the input going to get a couple auto grows under my belt and then test this out with the scrog I would like to start with one of the classic strains when running a photo would be thinking Sour D, White Widow or Northern Lights

For now all I can do is lst the hell out of my autos

Sour D would be my choice in SOG or SCROG. Look up making a scrog screen, doesn't take more than some pvc and some string. For all practical purposes its LST adjusted from the top instead of tying from the bottom. Really helps getting a nice flat even spread of nugs.

i changed my soil after my first grow.from a shit/clay/sand type thing to a nice fluffy soil with loads of perlight.helped a shitload, yeilds were still shit (2 joints from the whole plant/a bud on a stick) few more grows and i changed from i think 11L tall n slim pots or maybe 9L they were, to 6L airpots.yeilds up maybe 1/2 oz a plant.slowly over the next 2 years yeilds up to 1L pot 1 oz,3L pot 3oz,6L pot 4 1/2 oz.i dont think ive learnt much....just practice and experience.
i have gone through 5 leds in my time (prakasa 120/vipar c180/mars 96x3/mars 96x5/gn telos 00006 1.1i)*like a mark 1 fiesta 1.1i* can honestly say i didnt notice a big difference when i changed any light
good luck n keep er lit
:pighug:

I got one that came with my secret jardin tent it’s a net SCROG that stretches out and attaches to the poles.

Would it be too risky as a newbie to try my first scrog with a super silver haze everywhere I read that it’s a finicky plant and not too easy to grow? I forgot it’s my favourite strain by far and I didn’t think to mention it

Cool man I was thinking just going to add some perlite to the biobizz lightmix and see how we go next grow.

There is no substitute for experience for sure this grow has thought me all I need to be confident starting next plant and tbh my NYCD looks quite nice couldn’t ask much more for my first indoor grow

SSH is a big girl...honestly growing photos in a space this small will probably end in running 12/12 from seed. This is a pic from a photo run a little over a year ago. 4x4, center plant indica dom, 2 month veg.
Plant in front right corner is an iced grapefruit from NL seeds. Planted when I flipped the lights, 3 gallon bag. 6" squares on the bungee net. She filled all 4 squares easily by the end, and had spread out halfway in several others. This was around day 40 I believe.
