Hi guys I am using a migro100 in my tent at the moment it pulls around 115w from the wall and from what I can see is doing a very good job it’s my first indoor auto grow so no comparison to go by. There is great light penetration through the canopy but thinking more light more growth. The plant you see is NYD auto Barneys farm.

My question is what would be the best low energy consumption bulbs I could use to add side lighting to my grow to help increase yield in my future grows? I was thinking maybe a cfl either side of the tent what would your guys suggestion be or would it be worthwhile at all?

Looks like you are having fun:hothot:. I personally would not use cfls as they are a great veg light, not much use for flowers. I just started my first indoor after being an outdoor only grower for years so this indoor thing is all new to me.

Some of the setups I've seen pictures of on here blow my mind
:growing:
You have some nice medicine there. I have seen strip led lights and smaller clamp on led lights too for side lighting on amazon. They may be junk. I don't know:cooldance:. Keep on keeping on!:baked:

Hey man thanks I wasn’t thinking at all just had a look on alibaba and see they have 30w full spectrum led lights for like $15 dollars each

Small tent only requires 120 watts of full spectrum LED. I run 480 watts in my 120x120. 30 watts per sqft is the baseline and I believe HLG would have exactly what you need.

More light equals more growth up to a point. Plants have daily light integrals of how much light they require in a cycle. Cannabis requires around 40-60 DLI which that light I linked you can accomplish. You don't need side lighting at this point you need to do LST and work on flattening your canopies so that your light can cover more surface area.

Great stuff man thanks going by what your saying I am pretty much at optimal with the micro100 light it pulls 115w from the wall check the specs out. I will just need tobe patient and wait to see what my yield is I would be happy if I got 40g+ per plant when I have all dialled in.

I will just focus on training techniques and playing around with different ratios of medium instead of 100% soil.

Cfl for a seedling upto 2 weeks is fine....or a tiny cupboard.after that not a lot of help. A 50x100 cupboard with 180w,im more than happy with that.old school thought 50w sqaure foot for street lamps 25-30w for led.
How to maximise yeild..........a few grows and a bit of experience and yield will come.
Other option is a second migrow for the last 3 weeks.
Keep er lit

Your spot on man patience is what I need but I am very determined to get decent yields in my first couple attempts

I am going to try mix 30% coco and 10% perlite in with my biobizz light mix I have read that autos like this airy mix and also airpots which I am using so keep your eyes peeled the next one is gonna be a big one:crying:

Not exactly. Your light is a single cob fixture whereas the HLG contains several rows of small diodes that create multiple light sources that overlap providing better spread and penetration. Your light will work but I believe the HLG would be closer to optimal as a future purchase.

I've done 1000g with my 480W LED fixture using SCROG training with photos but I've also done 900g with autos and a 600W HPS. Training helps a lot but environment; air flow, humidity, and temperature, matter so much more.

I recommend buildasoil.com and https://gardengearsupply.com/?gclid...PETgtzaLGW_Cnh6cka-VUV89IK9vBKPxoCVPYQAvD_BwE
For air pots.

Cool man I get it going to keep that in mind for when I have to move my grow out to my garage in the near future think I will invest in a panel like that  Climate been spot on this grow and humidity + airflow have been spot on so fingers crossed
