Dutch Passion master kush

Cool I'm here nice and early :)

Using LED I don't suppose you have to worry about res temps in the buckets?

Looking forward to the ride

I try not to worry about res temps as I feel im blowing enough oxygen into each bucket to maintain health

as water heats up it decreases the amount of oxygen it can hold and if you think that high temps are gonna be an issue get a bigger air pump

30ltr per minute of o2 being blown into 15ltr res is double the required amount so this gives room for manoeuvre, even 20ltr per minute is still adequate, anything above 77 -78 degress id be concerned

also who came up with the idea of using the colour black for buckets as its considered a colour to retain heat lol

green would be my choice of colour, I do have some good design ideas on how to improve on the dwc bucket for easier use and maintenance

day 17

as stated ive swapped out the cfl for an l.e.d panel, the smaller plant on the left is looking slightly pale although both plants have had exactly the same environment and feed from the word go but , the plant on the right speaks for herself and looks about a week ahead of her sister

the joys of growing from seed lol

Wow that is a lot of air into the reservoir! Waterpark for the roots! Obviously it works for you so don't get me wrong that I would be challenging you on this. I have been under impression that a regular airpump is just allright for DWC and checking growstores around my neighbourhood reveals that most power they have in the airpumps they provide is 400l / h that is 6,66 l per minute.

So in otherwords, should I seriously like get tree of those just for 15 litres watertank? LOL right now I have 200l / h (3,33 l / minute) airpump pumping air to about 20l reservoir and judging from what you tell I should remedy that situation soon. Again thanks for sharing this information and good luck with the grow! Yeah I see those two are definatly different phenos but sometimes even the smaller one can kind of catch up to the big sister so it is interesting to see how it will turn out this time around. Both look super nice!

you can get bigger air pumps that are used for outdoor ponds , they range from 20lpm - 120lpm, I personally use 2 x haliea 60lpm with a manifold/splitter to run numerous amounts of buckets

day 21

both masterkush are on 1.4 ec of micro and grow ph 5.7

not quite as big as I imagined them to be at this stage but they still have another week before moving home, these plants will be unmolested and just left to do their thing

Great! I'm really interested to see how, amazingly, they will fare in your set up.
I wouldn't be too worried about their veg size. I'm growing her again (very good clone abilities) and have noticed growth spurt in these first 2 weeks of flower. And especially the first grow when I didn't tie and bend her; she grew much bigger than her veg state indicated.

cheers for the comments its appreciated ;)

day 28

both plants have been moved over to the bloom room after spending a good few hours cleaning and disinfecting the whole grow space, even contemplated getting a new tent which I probably will after this grow

decided im gonna give these an extra weeks veg and let them get acclimatised to their new environment, the bigger girl has shown sex already and the smaller plant was being under fed and is showing signs of recovery

currently got them on 1.6 ec micro - grow - bloom ph 5.8

the smaller plant is under 400 watts of hps @ 18" and the other plants is under 336 x pro running at 1.5 watts @24"
