Good evening everyone, :Sharing One:
Any update on your grow? Or any question about the growing with our Mars-hydro light? If so, please feel free to tell me, I will try my best to help. :tiphat:
If you want to sharing with your interesting things, I am all ears as well. haha.

Hello, Tina. I have two 300 watt old models and I am still confused, after much research, about if and how much UVB light to add. Any thoughts from you would be great. I should change my screen name to Marshydrocustomerforlife. I have had my lights for about 7 months. I purchased them on ebay and I can't wait for an excuse to try out some other models.

What little actual research I can find does say IR increases yield..............maybe.........somewhat........Overall consensus though is that its a waste of money and you shouldn't go out of your way to add it. You want lots of IR in your garden? Grow outdoors...lol!
Would grow outdoors if I could but not all of us are in a legal state. You see when I bought them I was debating on them vs the reflectors. Since I saw spectrum was supposedly the same I didn't worry about that, I focused on price and coverage, so I got one reflector and 2 old models, to cover this tent, if i would've known that old mode has no ir I would've bought 2 reflector instead, research might show a little or a lot of info, but it's more of the peace of mind, knowing there might be One or two diodes in there that might or might not give me more resin

I understand. My point is though, its not enough to worry about. I don't even look at or for IR specs. On top of that, having IR in your growlight could expose your eyes to harmful IR by accident, and it doesn't take much to damage your eyes. IMO, IR lights and Ozone generators do not belong in a small growroom.

Well the fact if ir helps or not, has nothing to do with buying a product that specifies it has something and then doesn't

Yes, we use to have the IR lights in our old models, but our costomers suggested a lot that the IR lights is making too much heat and is not very neccessary there, so we remove it. :tiphat:
But your website states that's it's included in the spectrum, would've liked to known beforehand, as I would've chosen a different model or brand that did include it. Most eBay listings show that they include ir also, so that's not cool, thinking I was gonna get ir ,i bought directly from your website as I thought your website would have correct info. For the website, sorry we diid not update the information in time. I will tell my colleague to change the description soon. Thank you for your kind remind and advice. :d5:
IR do will increase some yield, but the plants will be not happy if there are too many IR there. Even on our biggest 1600w lights, there won't be too much IR there. :tiphat:

Hello 1guy1plant, please don't add too much UVB in your space, maximun 2%~5% will be better. :d5: I will keep in mind you change the name, and recognise you, haha.

next time, you can PM me for the new order dear.

I totally understand your position dedereweko, but sometimes the website was edited by our IT colleague who is not so familiar with our light. That is why we open a thread here, to help you clarify some confusions, also we are glad to receive your advice so we can improve in future. Thank you. :tiphat:
