Hi Tina. Had your reflector lamp (96*3) for about a week now and so far loving it. Just a couple of questions. The big red buttons for bloom and veg. Love them. Nice size. Positive click. Are they supposed to light up when on? If not I personally would prefer if they did. Exactly same switches but with a bulb inside that lights up when on. Only minor improvement but one I would like. Also the fans. Grow switch on only and fans on. Bloom only on fans do not work. Why? Surely either on all the time or off with only one switch on. Again only minor but logical to me.
That is the only faults I can find. Love the fact its green lol. And love the industrial look. Makes you feel like you have bought something that will last. Love the feel of the switches. Hangers are nice and strong. Packaged well. Fast service. Well priced. So pleased. Will definitely buy again.

Plant been under light about a week (5 weeks old) and lower leaves are starting to pale. Wondering to start adding cal mag.

High TRIPDOG, the reflector lights are designed to turn veg switches on during veg, and turn both switches on during flower, that is why when you only turn flower switch on, the fan does not work. lol
For the time to use the light, usually growers will prefer to use 18/6 or 20/4 during veg and 12/12 during flower. You can buy a timer to control that.
As to the growing, hmm,,, better add the cal and mag now, and please make sure the PH is around 6~6.5, RH is above 50%. If your plants is already started bleaching, please try to hang the light higher a little first. Hope this helps.

I know many growers are new to LEDs, and cal and mag is a kinda must when chaning the light from HPS /MH / HID to LEDs, but how? I am not a grower myself, so I would aprpeciate everyone here can post here your own way to add the cal and mag, share the information with each other so we can all grow better.

Tina did you stop producing the 300w Old Models??? I was just thinking of getting another one but they disapeared from the Site...... any infos would be good as theese were the perfect ones for my lil Breeding tents.

Hello medic growers, good question here.
We are now stop selling our old models on our main website. The thing is we are now selling them on our EB stores with pretty low price, just for the competition on EB, we are losing money for these models, and since we cannot provide the same price on EB, we prefer not to sell them.
In fact, there is always lower prices on EB, and the competitors are crazy, so we had no choice there but to sell these lights at such lower price even if we are losing money. The quality of the old models are still good at this moment, but we are not sure when we cannot afford this kind of bad competition, and then the quality of the lights will be worse. We are company, sellers who need to make money to survive and making improvements on the products, we cannot always lose money to get orders. Hope you all can understand.
We don't sell these old models on our webstie is hoping to protect our customers' rights to get the quality guaranteed lights from us, we don't want our customers get bad quality products due to the rat race from EB. I hope all of you can be more careful on the products whose price is too low, all the sellers are need to make money, no body would want to lose money in business, if one company can offer a long tern low price to customers, their products' quality is doubtful. What do you think?

Thats sad to hear the 300w Old Model was my Prefered Panel. Now i have to check where i can get them or similar ones.They had the best Price quality match if you need to go low budged and its disapointing that they disapeared from the Store. ....I might hunt on EB for some then.

So, a couple of things here. In response to Tina's request. I am new to growing and before I really got started I decided on LED's as my preferred light source. During my research I kept running into post after post where the grower had cal/mag deficiency issues. I've seen numerous explanations as to why, and I understood some of it, but does it really matter. The plant uses it quicker and therefore I give it every watering once I begin fertilizing. I have been dosing at 6ml of General Organics CaMg+ per gallon and that seems to solve the issue for me. I have not seen any indications of cal/mag issues at either end of the spectrum while dosing at this rate.

I have just received this light as my second light,( first one is a 96x3 reflector series ). This is the revamped classic style with 5w diodes. Looks good in my tent and I'm fixing to see just how it does with all the plants in my tent right now. Take a look, it might be your "new" preferred panel.

Dear medic grower, I understand you, but not everyone like you would prefer to pay higher price to get the item. Most people will compare the price and they will buy the ones from the stores which offer cheaper price. And there are a lot copied old models here and there, due to these reasons, we have to give up on the old models on our home website. We also don't wanna this kind of thing happen.
Right now the old models of ours are still have good quality, you can order from our EB stores or Amazon stores.

Medic, I got one last week on Ebay through MarsHydro on Ebay, the old 300 for like 67 bucks

Thank you tag60435, it seems you are using more Cal and mag than other growers, usually they told me they use 2ml per gallen, guess different people has different ways, lol
