TSL2000 is not waterproof, the perfect temperature and humidity for your plants are found between 75°-85°F and 50% - 70% humidity.
Is it safe to put the driver on a red brick used for building house outside of the tent to absorb the heat? yes, you can, Red brick is not charcoal lol
the extension power cable is 2 meters.
Because the SP250 has a fin design, it will be cooler than the TSL2000

Thank you! Charcoal hahahaha :d5:

better safe than sorry i guess :)

What is the best way to clean a SP250 or TSL2000 please and how often would you do this? Is there a video? If yes i have not found it yet. Your other videos have been very very helpful, especially for hanging the light, as paper instructions included with light and ratchet ropes were bit generic , but video is great. best if you put big youtube channel link (Qr code?) to all the help videos on the instructions paper instead. skip the paper instructions and just give links to videos imo. @MarshydroTina

Also with negative pressure in a 1.2m tent i have maybe 1.0 - 1.5cm on each side of light so it doesn't touch my tent. So long as it is not touching it should be fine right?

EDIT: SP250 been on for several hours already and the side of tent does not seem to be getting hot at all but please do confirm about safe spacings. The light hardly gives off any heat and my room temp here is tropical climate on equator so i can guarantee for anyone the light is not hot (i have the driver placed outside of tent on floor on top of a red brick). The included extension cable is fantastic for put driver outside tent. I have a TSL2000 arriving soon from you will comment on that as well. Very impressed so far. I will run both side by side in a 4x4 tent. prob i will prefer the TSL2000 even if heat is slightly higher cos more watts and sides wont be as near to the tent so i dont need to have any worry in my head.

It's easy to clean TSL2000, wipe it with a dry towel. The SP250 is the same way, but the heat sink is harder to clean, which is great if you have a hand-held vacuum cleaner, or try it with a hair dryer. Make sure it's cold.

I think your proposal is very good, now many people prefer to watch videos rather than words, if we make all these information into videos, that would be great.Do you have any good ideas for the video? What would you like to see? I'd like to collect them and show them to our manager

hello guys, we are start the new giveaways, check the new thread: https://www.autoflower.org/threads/share-your-mars-hydro-grow-to-win-the-tsl2000-mars-hydro.74934/

The translations on paper are not very good English and to be honest not that helpful . Videos speak all languages without saying anything at all. On the instructions included, share some link very visible bold and big size: "marshydro.com/install"so people understand have help videos or further instructions here. Then u visit this link and arrive at page where you select your product model. after click on your product model, then a page shows up with 5-15 titles of the videos specific to each particular light.

e.g. "1. how to hang your light . 2. How to remove the driver/s . 3. Can my light be dimmed? If yes, how? ..."

then you click on which help video you need and each video only needs to be 20-60 seconds.

Just my $0.02. Hope it helps.

Here's a thumb up. I'm going to propose this at the meeting today. If it goes through, we'll start shooting this series of videos next month

Thank you. Hope my feedback helps. :woohoo:

Is it safe for the TSL power wires to touch the top of my TSL2000 and also ok for it then pass across the top of SP250? The SP250 power cable seems a bit heavier duty and thicker than the 2x TSL power cables plugged into each side.

No problem for the strings from the rope ratchet to be touching the blue top of TSL2000 either right?

Sorry for many questions but i am very safety orientated with my tent and not massively experienced with setting it all up.

For anyone reading the TSL2000 is definitely hotter than the SP250. At room temp of 25c the SP250 (with driver outside of tent) hardly gives off any heat at all. Once the temp starts to go above 27c then there is more noticeable heat given off by the SP250 but at both temps in the room i can still put my hand on top of the SP250 and keep it there without getting hot and it doesnt heat my grow space AT ALL pretty much unless you get to within 10" maybe u can start to feel some heat. Not ran the TSL2000 long enough to compare but yes it is hotter. Will see if can keep my hand there after 24 hours of switched on.

The TSL2000 fits into a 4x4 with more space cos it not as long. Personally for a 4x4 tent i prefer the shape and wattage of the TSL2000 but the driver and heat sink of the SP250.
