Appreciate it man.

Tina, could you post those pictures you have on the 420 site that shows those copycat and false advertised lights compared to the Mars. I think it might be interesting for those here who don't know about them and the safety issues so they know what to look for when buying a light.

Hey Tina I have a question for you; I have the 1600W Mars II unit and I was wondering if it's safe to use an appropriate gauge extension cord with it? The provided cord in a 5 x 5 tent isn't long enough to reach my outlet. If you don't recommend an extension cord, is it possible to replace the power cord with a longer, compatible power cord?

Thank you! Have the light mounted in the tent; hoping to have a grow journal started very soon!

Longer cords would be nice though

Awesome, thanks bro! Are you plugging directly into the wall? Are surge protectors out of the question?

Yes Margahooja, I can post that, but I am not sure if it is against the rule. I will ask Mossy about it. :d5:

Tina your good to go, That would be a great thing to be able to identify a fake......You would not be breaking any rules.

Yes, Son of Hobbies, you can get an extension cord, but please buy one with 14AWG, with a external diameter of 0.0641inch 110v. As 1600w light has a current of 6.5A, very strong so this is the safest one.

Really appreciate your help when I am not here dear
where the lights meet the cord I have a star plug in with 6 outlets and a built in surge protector. I then run straight to the wall.
