Hi @MarshydroTina!

Howdy! I'm planning on ordering a Mars Hydro light for my upcoming indoor grow in the fall. Trying to decided which is best for me, kind of having a hard time. I'm down to either the 192x3w reflector, the Mars II 900w, or the new sun series 200x3w. They're all within a similar price range [give or take ~$40 bucks]. Will be growing in a 3' x 3' tent, all autoflowers. Will be growing in both hempy and organic "super" style amended soils if that makes a difference. Also β€” re: the reflector series β€” if I end up going that route, will I get better coverage with the 192x3w or 2 of the 96x3w? I've read that splitting the lights, even through would the be the same amount of watts, would be better coverage/penetration.

Anyway, currently leaning towards the sun series, but am a little bit worried that a single light won't provide enough coverage in the 3'x3' tent vs what the MII 900w would give me. On the other hand β€” the even-ness of the COB coverage seems like its definitely the way to go. Any advice is greatly appreciated β€” thanks so much!!! [also, sorry if you've answered this exact question β€” I went through as much of the thread as I could, but you guys must be KILLING it, since there is SO many pages of posts!]

Red i run a 192 x 3 in a 3'x3' and it does a great job of covering the whole tent

I just received my new Mars 300-watt (60 x 5-watt) light. I got it for only $67.46 from topledfactorystore on Ebay. I ordered it Sunday night, it arrived today, Tuesday, around noon - only abuot 36 hours after ordering after hours on a Sunday night! I live in Maryland and it was shipped by Fedex from Cranbury, NJ (>200 miles). The quality looks rather good, with better look/feel than an "old model" 100 x 3-watt I purchased only months ago. Between the very low price (only about $.20/watt), with 1.5 days delivery (at least for me) and decent quality, nobody can beat this deal!

Presuming one can never have too much light or too many lights, with these small and easily added in most any tent, I suggest those growing indoors consider purchasing one (or more) while they are still available.

Hi RED DANSON, I got your email, ;) :d5:
For your area and need, I recommend you use the 192x5w light, now all upgrated to 5w, the penetration is better than before, also the reflector design, no lumen wasted and can cover your space quite well both veg and flower. :welcome:
As to the Sun series, it can blend the light better, however, might be a little short of light during flower, due to the fact the coverage is smaller. :cooldance:
