I have used them and grew nice plants. Not sure what your beef is but someone elses thread isn't the place for it

I don`t have problem with Mars, but I have with manufacturers who don`t educate/are not educated and do false marketing to mislead buyers.
Plants will even grow under 125w CFL - so what? Its about how good/healthy/strong/bushy/tasty/smelly your plants are, how hight THC or CBD is, how big yield is etc. Its like a car - you can buy Daewoo Matiz or Ferrari - both are called "cars".....

Discussing on thread is stirring a pot? Whole idea of this forum is to talk about different topics, right? Because many or even you have them, does that mean nobody can question this brand or say something you don`t want to hear?

When you have gained a reputation as a decent grower who has contributed to the forums, then you are entitled to have an informed opinion. Until then, I request you refrain.

Since when I need to be a pro grower to know something about lighting technologies?

My thread has started a war Everyone is entitled to an opinion some people might be more clued up than most but I believe in diving in head first and learning the hard way

But for me the Mars. Hydro has surpassed my expectations for a budget light this thing kicks ass and I am sure many people would agree

I would love to have a high end led or grow with MH or HPS lighting but for 1 to 4 plants that's a bit over kill as long as I am pulling over a oz a plant I am happy and the Mars hydro is more than capable of producing that kind of weight

Very strong Mars LED light is still better than HPS or MH because of good blue and red spectrums. But with a well made LED light, you would yield many times more and have better quality in terms of smell, taste etc

So the more light available the better quality the buds so if I add another Mars hydro to my tent that should give me better quality smoke I have another light to add but my tent is small 4ft x 1.5ft X 1.5ft would another light be over kill

General rule is 1w of light = 1g of buds, therefore - more light, higher yield! If you just add another one same, it won`t change quality of your buds because it has fixed spectrum. You need to aim for wider spectrum to have full spectrum. This is full spectrum:

And now check your lights spectrum. See the difference ?

the mars 100x3 grow dense nugs to be sure and you can have them right on top of the plant no bleaching!

Sun`s spectrum (how plants have evolved). We should aim to replicate it with our artificial lights in tents, but within 380-800nm range. There is still ongoing debate/arguments if UV (>800nm band) makes plant to produce up to 24% more THC - some say it does, few say it doesn`t.
