I’m thinking of getting two of these for a 8’x4’ tent, Do you think that would be over doing it for the space or not enough?. I’m only on my first grow now in a smaller tent with two SF1000 leds. Four plants is a little crowded so I am getting the second tent.

I have one of the Mars FC-E4800 in a 4x4 tent. It fits great and works very well. The cords are nice and long so you can place the driver outside the tent. I would recommend doing so as the light puts off a lot of heat when it's at full power. The light does not fit tight to the walls so there is room for hanging other things like intake ducts, fans, filters, etc... Plenty of light coverage.

If you put two in an 8x4 you would be able to leave yourself a channel for accessing the plants in the back.

The other item I would suggest having on hand is some additional rope ratchets. The light does come with a steel cable hanger for each side so you can mount the light with one ratchet per side. However, that really limits the height. Also the light is big and has some weight to it. I bought better rope ratchets and put one at each corner. Makes adjustments a bit tricky in the far back corner but you can get it balanced and even.

Each corner has an eyelet that you can slide/adjust. Same with the light bars themselves. Neat design.

If you use the split cable hanger and a single ratchet per side you can only get 52" of height:

I run 4 of these red/black rope ratchets off of amazon. They are a bit thicker and I feel like they hold the weight better. You have to slide the clip over the end of the bar. It will not clip around it so setup is a bit tricky but I like the clean install this way despite being a pain.

I thank you greatly for the info. I am sold on that light for sure. Thanks for the pictures also, I’ll be using them as a reference when I get the lights.

Your products are highly recommended everywhere I look!. I will be purchasing 2 of the lights and the 8x4 tent also, I have both of them in my cart, just waiting for my paycheck lol. I am currently growing 4 plants in a spider farmer tent (55”x28”x80”) and it is really an awkward size w 4 plants. And I have the two SF1000 leds. But after seeing all the praise for Mars Hydro products I figured That’s what I will set up the new bigger tent with. My fingers are crossed, hopefully I’ll be using MH for all my future grows.
Thank you for the coupon code, that and a response to my post, I have a feeling customer service is notable at MH.
