If the plants doing good, that's all that matters.

How do you turn them down, I pulled the little rubber piece off and my eye sight is so bad I cant see anything in there.

As I said, all that matters is the end result. And it appears that what ever you're doing is the right thing according to your plants.

Takes a bit of feel. Counterclockwise.

I have ts2000 and I just hang mine from top of tent full power. I find gives plants bright light from start so I have no shock

I have the TS600 and Mars Hydro recommends 24" to 30" for germination. 24" above seedlings. 18" to 24" during veg and 12" to 18" in flowering. I've seen the Mars Hydro rep comment on other TS models and the suggested distances were the same.
