Thanks to @MarshydroTina This new Mars Hydro SP3000 showed up on my doorstep today. My closet setup is not big enough to handle this light so I had built a new 2ft x 8ft room for it. I wont have the ventilation parts until later this week so right now is just the unboxing of this sweet new light.

Wonder if that would work good in a 4ftx2ftx5ft grow tent? Or would that be overkill? :pass:
Hope that light produces fat nugs for ya ManWithWrench.

Cheers:passit:

Nope, it's 300w, won't be overkill. At veg, using the dimming function, when flower, turn it to full power get best buds :smoking:

My sp250 is perfect for it. The only problem now is the plants grow so tall from setup they grow too close or above the light. the 300 with a dimmer would even be more efficient. In the next week or 2 I hopefully will get a 2x4x7 tent. The light for me works "too good" lol.

In that small of a tent, detach the driver and dimmer and put it outside the tent to keep the heat load down. I just did that with my SP 300 and 4X4 Gorilla tent. The cords are long enough to let the light down.

My problem isnt the temp. My problem only is height. Even with training some autos get over 3 feet.my recent dragon fruit auto was 44 inches in a 3 gallon pot that's 10 inches tall. That's 54 inches in a 62 inch tent. No heat problem. Height problem. And it's a good problem to have just need a taller tent lol so was saying heads up to @Stylez2 may want that 2x4x7
