Ha. Light bars.
I was thinking of grabbing a few of those to use as side lights to see if it made any difference in my grow.
@MarshydroTina
I'd volunteer to test, but I'm planning on sticking with what I've got until mid-May, at least.

It's a pain in the arse just to get all the reflectors out! If left in they bleach plants in a week even 8ft away. Most are made to focus light for distance.

I work in the construction business (remodels&renovations)... I'm certain I've got a tool or two that'd make it quick and easy. Maybe. Haven't looked at a light bar up close.
What light spectrum are those on?

It's 6500k but believe me it's not worth it. After reflectors are off they aren't that bright. I was running 2000 wall watts for a 4x4 when all was said and done. That's not even all of them in picture. I got 12 light bars in closet because they aren't a good light source. If i didn't already have all these new ones up i would buy 4 of the sp200 and cover my whole space. This 300w Cob from mars is by far the brightest light to date that I've owned! Maxes my lux meter at 41k 20inches away! I can pull lux from 4x4 grow area without mars cob on and only get 10k lux at dirt. Cob on 4x4 area lux lowest is 18k highest 20k with other lights and that's at dirt.

If i had it to do all over again i would have bought one good light at a time until i had enough. I wasted so much money on lights and electric. Not to mention the time to change it out. I have ran blurples cfl t5 light bars 110v cobs. Trust me when i say its truly not worth it.

I got to looking into specs of the light bars. Doesn't seem like they'd be too useful.
I'll stick with my 230 watts of autocob power for now lol.
*edit- wait...240 watts. Maybe? I stuck at math right now. Yeah it's 240.

The mars hydro cob is just a bigger newer cob. Both are made from same company and it comes with meanwell driver. I'm so excited about the sp versions though. Really looks promising on par and coverage amd matched with a reasonable price!
