Hi, originally, the SP series only had SP150 and SP250 lights. They had the same chip as TS, but the SP was a rectangular lamp with a heat sink and different spectrum. This year we stopped production of the SP250, upgraded it to the SP3000, and released the SP6500, both of which are Samsung chips. No the plan to upgrade SP 150.@Marshydro
The SP150 is not the same diodes as the SP3000!
Why is it called SP? I love Mars Hydro but WTH?
The spectrum is no where near the same. I have 2 3000s and now a 150.
I assume when a models starts with SP that means All SPs will have the same spectrum just lower ot higher power etc. Very not happy about that. I guess the TSW has a more broad spectrum than the SP150. Does not make sense.
Do you mean the SP 6500 light? Or the upgraded version SP 3000?Don't like the use of SP foe the new
So stunning cola#marshydroblackfriday , The FC series look pretty nice

I see, make sense. We will seriously consider the product name rules in the future, try to not make customers confusedLol. Yes a new generation light like my 2 SP 30000 having SP as the model name. Then I say hey I am going to get an SP150. When I get it home I find out tbe SP150 is lacking the great spices at the far end of the spectrum. So ya why have a new generation light with UV and Far Red etc and call it SP. It causes confusion.
Last night I bought a TS 1000 because it has a better spectrum than the SP150.
And yes you counted right I now I have 2-SP 3000, 1-SP 150, and 1-TS 1000. Soon ill have 3 SP 3000. So no I'm not a bad customer. I simply do not think it is smart in any way shape or form to use SP for lights that do not compare. The SP 3000 is far superior to the SP 150. Not just in power but in technology. In goodies. Not sure I can be any more clear. I can try if yku are still confused. LMK
