I had been mixing a similiar mix for years but after giving the Roots O a chance, never looked back.
You are right about the perlite, I especially like putting a couple of inches at the bottom of the Airpots. The roots love it. And will occassionally add some of their Coco Coir for a heavier Coco mix.
I may at sometime need to tap into your RO experience. Thanks!

Awesome, here for any help one needs, what did u think about micro greens and not drying out enough around stalk base, it always kept mine to wet and got stalk rot at the base, now I add perlite around the base of the plant when I use it to keep that dry for stalk to get hard. Plus I never have germ issues in it.
