I have made photo seeds and it takes about 4-5 weeks after pollinating for photo seeds to be ready to harvest.
I pollinated an auto with feminized auto pollen on August 22nd does it still take 4-5 weeks or is the process shorter because the autos have a shorter lifespan?

When I did the Stone Dragon x Stone Dragon, x Bluetoof Special, x Gold Glue, I was intent on 6 weeks minimum. All plants went 50+days (7 weeks) from pollination with one plant being 56 days (8weeks). I got very mature looking seeds, but I have to say the SD x SD were significantly smaller then the SD x mephisto seeds. After screening seeds to remove obvious immature seeds, I have been getting around +80% germination. I am very happy with these numbers as I did a whole plant and stopped counting seeds when I got to 1000!!

Mephistos grow guide says 5 weeks. They dont have a making seeds guide exactly it's an explanation of what they do..

Stone, the creator of stone dragon says SD can finish seeds in 4 weeks but a couple more cant hurt.. https://autoflower-portal.net/dry-store-cannabis-seeds/

I dont know if that's from pollination or once you see seeds but safe to say 5 weeks is the sweet spot. Dont just harvest on timing though, check a few seeds first..

so all in all, it sounds like even though the auto has a shorter life than a photo plant when it comes to producing seeds mother nature didn't cut corners on the time it take. so I guess I will cut off the buds and leave the seeded branches on the plant until they are ready

I pollinated 5 weeks ago and my mephisto CDLC crosses are not mature yet. I still see about 10 seeds that's not mature.

Seems to take longer for me. I've cut half the plant, dried it and still waiting for the rest of them to mature.

This is exactly what i did with my last seed run. I wasn't going to waste the time spent making seed to get immature ones that wouldn't germ.

I waited 6 weeks and I have had like 90% rate. Sure the flower was overdone but I wanted viable seeds.

I just pulled 6 more seeds last weekend and their is still some on the Alf bud. When I get home from work I'll take some pics. You can check my journal in the micro grow section. Bigg al McDonald cup grow.

On my orange diesel I pollinated one lower bud. When I chopped the plant I left that little bud on the plant and let it go another 3 weeks. Those seeds looked like slingshot ammo when I snipped that bud after a total of nine weeks from pollination.

That's just about where I'm at now! Pics when I get home! Total count is 23 seeds so far.
