Magnesium RUB

Thanks
Same bag in Canada costs via Amazon
Could you tell us more about your baking soda spray?

Does it really help with pain?

Hi RC,

The baking Soda program is to raise the pH of your body. It is not a spray, you take 1/3 to 1/2 teaspoon 3 times a day on an empty stomach. Check out the pH Quick Start thread. The increase in body pH along with the transdermal magnesium helps dissolve calcium deposits in joints and muscles.

Try the Quick Start Plan and if you notice a positive difference then you know you have come to the right place for help.

As to the magnesium, a lot of folks find that mixing it with coconut oil or the like helps prevent it from drying your skin and allows you to use a stronger version without any issues

Thanks older, I have everything ready but the flakes.
A lot of places sell the powder form and amazon canada is a lot more expensive than the one in the states

also when do you add the vitamin e into the recipe and how much of it?

Hi RC,

Sorry for not responding sooner, been having computer issues.

Any magnesium chloride will work as long as it is food grade; I get mine from Swanson's.

I have never tried Briman's recipe, the one I have made is just coconut oil, magnesium, and water.

With any rub you want to melt and mix all the oil based items together first. Don't get it any hotter then needed.
Once it has cooled start whipping it and slowly add the water based items. If you have ever made mayonnaise it is the same process.
Whip until it starts to set up.

Thanks Oldster, so would the powder form work aslong as it's food grade?
So put the essential oils + vitamin e oil when it's melting and I'm mixing?

realcarlos,
You want to make sure you are getting Magnesium Chloride.

To make the Magnesium oil...1 cup magnesium flakes and 1 cup water. That is the strength that is sold in stores (liquid form). If you want stronger oil keep adding magnesium flakes up until they don't dissolve any more, that is the highest concentration you can get.

Essential oils and the vitamin E should be added after the oils have cooled, before you whip. Too high a temp and they evaporate.
After it cools again (on the counter - not in the refrigerator) is when I whip the magnesium oil in.

Hopes this helps...how is your Aunt?

Thanks Root 66, my aunt is still in a lot of pain. So I'm constantly wanting to try something else to help her with her pain

hello, realcarlos, try this out. It works great!! This along with mag oil in a spray bottle(best time to spray on is getting out of a shower) is a great treatment. Also, dont forget a good foot soak with the oil as well!!! The consensus from family members and a massage therapist has been very good! I have an Aunt that just Loves the rub. She has used it specifically on her left elbow and says she can tell when she hasnt used it for a day or two.
