You're looking for a complete ring crater lip on the "hole" side of the bean...an interrupted or incomplete "crater wall"
seems to be indicating male, while the full crater seems to be coming out female at a larger rate than 50/50.

We're near the end of this Twisted Metal run....the "less purple" one is hanging and the "more purple"
one will see the blade tomorrow. They look just incredible. The smell is hard to define but it's
like floral/perfume/sweet/pine leading into skunk. At least the one I harvested. We'll see on the 2nd.
