Mag deficiency or nitrogen?

I bought a decent ph meter mainly due to the fact I didn’t want to trust my cheap one as it seemed to swing out of calibration... I will re calibrate my decent one tonight and double check levels ect. like you said, I think the best thing to do is apply the Epsom salts via spraying and I’ll continue the nute schedule aswell as added cal mag but at reduced amounts and see how she gets on with that :) like I said, she is looking bang on other than a few of the lower leaves showing signs of mag def
sounds like a plan and I can't wait to see progress of your grow.
Anytime in the past, when I had mag def, it was always quickly resolved and I had no further issues.
These days I use CalMag right from the start and never have Mag def.

Yeah, in hind sight I should have been using cal mag from day one as a precaution rather than getting a def and having to use it as a rectification... Hopfully the Epsom spray will put it right and then in 4/5 weeks she will be done :)

Spot on
I can't wait to see what she looks like when she finishes!
Have a great grow buddy!:smoking:

May have been a miss diagnosis.....

Being a complete novice I’ve been doing a lot more research on the symptoms and it could possibly be what @Waira initially suspected... a nitrogen deficiency!

I will attach some pictures of her but basically what is happening is the lower, older leaves are yellowing with the vein of the leaf remaining green. The leaf then continues to turn to a complete pale yellow leaf before falling off with the slightest touch.

I’m now thinking that she has got to the stage in her life that she would want a nitrogen deficiency as she will be 9 weeks from sprout tomrow.

Even though she is 9 weeks tomrow I am only on week 7 of the biobizz nute schedule due to them saying that “week 1” starts when the seedling is 2 weeks old.

I’ve noticed today that some leaves a bit further up the plant have started to show the same symptoms which makes me think there might be a issue rather than coming to the end of its life as such....(she has probably lost between 10/15 leaves since this has been occurring now...)

Just wondering if you had any advice on what you think might be the best plan?

should I think about adding more bloom nutrients, or maby incorporate a Biobizz Alg a mic folier spray as it contains nitrogen, potassium ect.

just a bit stuck as she is coming to that age where she’s not a million miles off being finished so I want to make sure to get the end stage as correct as possible...

I will get some detailed pics when I go to the garden next

thanks

Not at the mo, I think it is to be fair, after the research I’ve been doing.

but wondering if it appeared because she is 8 weeks old so she’s using up her reserves, or should I be dosing more nitrogen....?

Or just let it carry on as she is probably 3 weeks from done?
