If I were to clone an autoflower I would pick a longer cycle plant. 80-90 day strain etc. I'd take the cutting as early as possible. I've seen single cola buds in excess of an ounce in a solo cup this way. I have a 5 plant limit so do not play with that. If I lived in MI I'd have 8 full size plants and 4 clones running. Just due to not enough time to take care of 12 full plants.it's cool brother! Just from my knowledge the clone stays in the same phase of life as the mother, flowers at the same time, doesn't have long to veg. It would defo save some serious bank if you can get good results cloning autos
When I get home from work, I'll look the group led by this girl, I can't remember her name, but they have been taking clones with really really good success. That's kind of what I'm looking into here. Because so far, when I top an auto and don't top her sister, from fem seeds I should add, the topped plant will be delayed or stalled in time. The untopped will flower let's say, and it took about a week before full on growth was back to its thing on the topped ok, that topped plant would not begin preflower for a week after the untopped. So far, in my whole two grows of paying attention, that has been the case. I have a run of ronin gardens bum wine and half topped the others are not, and the untopped are way ahead. Now I know, not the same plant as youre saying, but thats exactly some of the things I'm interested in, because from what iv actually seen, the clones appear to be on their own schedule. But, I can not say with confidence that I saw them next to mother. That's super interesting. Now I'm even more curious!! Haha. Hey, thanks though for not taking offense. I have noticed, for whatever reason, online, that I'm taken rude when I have no intention. I usually chalk it up to an inner dilemma with the reader of my post but eh, whatever. Any how, thanks brother, you got me thinking today. Haha.it's cool brother! Yeah, exactly. That's how it was explained by someone doing it with great success. Seems obvious, but yeah, you def want certain parameters in your cultivar. Why it's not recommended, but possible. It's tough sometimes. No inflection or tonality to the written words. I have a 55-65 day plant that I could take a cutting from. I prefer the longer ones. I have not topped an auto. I almost topped this one earlier today. Chickened out. I know i will have 20 solid colas all at the same height when she goes into flower so not sure if the efficacy of topping her. She is growing an inch a day ATM.When I get home from work, I'll look the group led by this girl, I can't remember her name, but they have been taking clones with really really good success. I look forward to that linkI'm finishing up a run currently, about a month ish away. When that's done, I am going to see what I can accomplish and what I find out. I will do my best to keep you all posted.
Mothers simply are not possible. The person who figures that one out needs the Cannabis Nobel Prize.I've been listening to a lot different growing podcasts lately and actually just heard an episode talking about this.. long story short yes you can always clone an autoflower. Some strains will take better than others. Longer strains best. Obviously the one issue with this being there is no way to keep a mother. I've been very interested in doing a dabbling myself just for a little excitment. I highly recommend the podcasts hustle cannabis, and growcast. Hustle cannabis is actually how I found all you wonderful folks over here at AFN! IRIE
Yeah, that's just not going to happen.Mothers simply are not possible. The person who figures that one out needs the Cannabis Nobel Prize.
