Last night I decided to LST my northern lights auto. It got stunted pretty bad in its second week of veg and it’s on day 31 now so I figured why not. This is my first grow ever so I was just wondering if I did this correctly?

You've got the right idea but I'd say that at day 31 and being so small it's a little too late for a decent one most northern light autos go 100 days + but could be wrong good luck [emoji106]

I agree with the above, lst looks good. My rqs northern lights went 135 days but was massive. I would be careful using metal spikes for lst as they tend to rust and change the balance of your soil, just a tip. Other than that, looks good bro! Great work

Yeah I had Ph problems early on And then she got burned with nutes, I’ve put it through hell. It was probably 4 inches or so before I tied it down, I’ve got 2 other strains that just broke soil (GG, and Tangerine dream) so the goal is to learn from my mistakes on this one and apply what I’ve learned to the next 2 since this ones fucked lmao.

I might add that I literally tipped the entire pot over on its side like a day prior to this lmao. I was so pissed, thought it was done forsure. All the roots seemed to be intact I think, nothing was broken so I just put soil back around it. That’ll prob set her back a bit, not really sure tho.

I would say keep doing what your doing . Get rid of the metal and reformat the training and bends as time goes by.( I generally move the main stock tie down in a circular rotation once a week or so depending on growth ) Try not to let what ever your using as a tie down put pressure on the small nodes. I have ruined bud sites by doin that. Otherwise it looks good to me.

Came back this morning and it seems like it’s already responding well, it looks like the top of the plant is already going towards the light. Kinda hard to see from the picture. I’m not really sure tho.

That's the beauty part. They respond fast to the lst. Just keep changing the angle every once in a while so it can get lots of new growth from all side. Looks good.

@Cmersh - do you have any new pics of your plant and LST effort?
