New Grower Lowryder #1 regular

order is out waiting for the beans now ... gonna be a loooong wait as they will probably not arrive till tuesday in a week :Aw shucks:

at least i still have 10 more days to get some more info and make last few decisions on how i want it and what i need :)

i actualy got a few nice pots today from a garden center here .. think they are 3gallon or 12-15L pots and they give em away cause they were used .. i like these cause these were not as wide but high shape ... think they suit autos best as i have read on some threads here that autos have a tendencie to make one firm base root that goes deep very fast so a higher pot instead of a wide one would be better for autos i think

hope to be able to post some pics tomorrow and show both of my 3-3,5gall pots and hope some one can confirm that those new pots i got are better for autos then the wide ones

been such a long time since my last grow but wanna start again so bad that those days will probably feel like years LOL wish i could start tomorow and care for my precious again :)

i think the one that is slightly taller is better for autos allthough it is only about an inch taller or a little less and has slightly less volume then my old ones (think new ones are 3 gallon/13L pots and my old ones are 4 gallon/17L pots

can you all gimme your thoughts on this and please tell me if im correct or not thinking the taller pots are better to use for autoflowers

any input is highly apreciated

Its only an inch taller, but smaller in volume, so personally I would use the old big one even though its an inch shorter, if anything use the tier method to give you the extra inch in the old pot

thx m8 ... but what is the tier method?

Fist you grow in a small pot (a cup or small plant pot) untill the plants/roots get big enough after which you cut off (carefully) the bottom of the pot and place it in a not to deep hole in the bigger pot.

yippeee it still has the beans i want...but i cant get them there :( they only do purchases on credit card (i dont have a credit card so cant purchase there):(((

still thx again for looking ;)

Awesome project! Here's hoping you come up with something truly unique!

If you don't have a credit card, a debit card should work long as you've allowed it to be used for online purchases and purchases abroad. I used my debit with Attitude for the first time when I was 17. They say credit/debit at Attitude, though, but I've had mine work wherever Visa is listed.
So don't let that stand between you and your dreams!

Thx WW ;)

have found a way to get them beans.. have allready orderred and should arrive in a week from now tops...

unfortunatly my own seeds were no good anymore (were about 13 years old so they probably didnt survive the long wait) had some seeds from my last grow back then but none germed :(

so had to go for another strain now ... am not 100 percent sure yet, but i think ill try make a auto version of the Scott's OG... if you have another good idea of a reg strain to be made auto its also welcome .. like i said havent made up my mind entirely and might even do 2 projects if time and space allow me :)

im not after yield its quality i want and that in an auto so i can grow it outdoors where i live and maybe even 2 runs in one year if the auto strain is quick enough but only time will tell how it will go and what the final strain will be :)

i just like to do this as a hobby so no need to get much smoke and got all the time in the world to get the best of it. with the great help that is given here on this forum im sure it will work out and maybe next year or the year after i can put some of the first ladies and gents outdoors ;)

thx for the input reed,

im using bio degradable peat pots, where the roots can grow thru, so as soon as i see first roots they will be placed in their permanent home :)

peat pots im using resemble these ;) http://www.teskepetandgarden.com/browse.cfm/plant-starter-square-peat-pot-3-tall/4,780.html

Well, if I were to make a strain of my own I'd probably try to breed an autoflowering Kali Mist. I might even cross it with something aromatic like Bubblegum. That'd be an interesting mix.
