ahh... right... had a dumbass moment there... should jumped back a page and loked at context of question... that I know of.... not really.

I haven't had a big problem with ph swing, it slowly goes up by itself but I'm sure that's from nutrient uptake and then I just put a couple of drops of down in every 3 days or so. My ph problems came from me just setting it too high. I think the Fogger helps to keep my system sterilized of bad stuff that could cause ph up. I don't really have any algae or anything. Something to think about.

usually really good aeration will prevent a lot of swing as long as you monitor and make the neccesary occasional adjustments... but I've had water before that was all over the frikin map! good water source and good bubbling is the ticket... the fogger is effectively super high oxygen... so it makes sense.

I don't really have violent ph swings. Just climbs the first couple days. A couple adjustments and it's usually good for 3 or 4 days. The slime really threw me for a loop. It wouldn't take 12 hours for th ph to climb a full point. If I could adjust my ph from my phone. would make it possible to go to fish camp for a week instead of 3 days.

That does sound really nice. Nothing against my wife, but I don't think I could trust her monitor and adjust ph correctly for a week.

Ditto. She's just not that into it. She likes to smoke and that is about it.
