Low stress training the do’s and dont’s

1. when to start training - Soon as you can, usually week 2. Depends on the siz\e of the plant
2. When to stop training - You will always be adjusting throughout.
3. Do you ever untie the ties after final training or just let the plant grow out of them? - not done that, just leave them be & make sure the plant has enough growth room.
4. Is anyone against using LST on autoflowers? Not that I've heard of. Some autoflowers are better at accepting LST than others, so this would be the only time.
5. Garden wire vs other methods? I use garden string, others use those little bendy things. Whatever you have, or are comfortable with really.
6. Any advice appreciated . It can be a bit scary, and you will probably balls it up sometimes, but that's ok. Go slow, and steady.

Honestly, I don't really go in for all the node business. I probably should, but there you go. If the plant is above the 2nd set of leaves, then it's ripe for a little LST. In saying that it depends on the stretch / nodal distance on the individual plant. If it's a stumpy indy plant, then it might be worth waiting a few nodes. If it's a lanky sat dom, then as soon as you are able to begin LST you should do so.

Also, when you go to do your LST do not get stoned before. This is when I balls it up 99% of the time.

Maybe I expressed myself wrong. Thank you for the swift answer btw Nodes or sets of leafs is the same for me in this case. When you say the second pair of leafs do you mean the pair with 3 'fingers' each. They seem to look all the same 8n YouTube and others. First you have this round leaf, then the first real leaf with only one 'finger'. The next one, the second pair, has three fingers. I was thinking of doing this today but I have to admit that I saw it done mostly after the 3rd pair, sometimes the fourth. AHH...wait, I'll send you a pic

I start training as soon as they are big enough to bend. I should really give them more time I think. I tuck the bigger leaves first aswell
