Hi
New grower here who has heard a lot about LST and used it successfully I believe. I do have a few questions to ask thou

1. when to start training
2. When to stop training
3. Do you ever untie the ties after final training or just let the plant grow out of them?
4. Is anyone against using LST on autoflowers?
5. Garden wire vs other methods?
6. Any advice appreciated

thank you growers and Happy New Year!

2. When to stop training if ever?

Im relatively new to growing but I've always used lst and quite enjoy it. I probably am abit aggressive in my training but it normally makes my plants bigger from my comparison to my friends who don't. Makes the most surface area for the light to hit the leaves.

Beautiful girl haha. I keep training the whole way through. When shes in veg she will be more plyable but you'll notice just like a typical woman when she flowers she will stiffen up and not be so flexible. Small steps. Also if you do break one dont panic haha. Try to tape her up or as I do peg it back together and give her time

1. when to start training - Soon as you can, usually week 2. Depends on the siz\e of the plant
2. When to stop training - You will always be adjusting throughout.
3. Do you ever untie the ties after final training or just let the plant grow out of them? - not done that, just leave them be & make sure the plant has enough growth room.
4. Is anyone against using LST on autoflowers? Not that I've heard of. Some autoflowers are better at accepting LST than others, so this would be the only time.
5. Garden wire vs other methods? I use garden string, others use those little bendy things. Whatever you have, or are comfortable with really.
6. Any advice appreciated . It can be a bit scary, and you will probably balls it up sometimes, but that's ok. Go slow, and steady.
