Male to female ratio from regular seeds is said to be almost a coin flip. 50/50. Tho in my last grow I had 12 regs and got 11 females 1 male. Getting 2 males and 3 females out of a 5 pack is a good ratio. Also without males there are no babies. Most people don't like paying 10$ a seed. Why buy 10 Beans for 100$ when you can get a 5 pack, mate a male and female and have a couple hundred free beans? That's my logic on the 2/5 males.

im curious to this too cause i hate the risk of getting seeds but doesnt pollinated bud have less effects as to potency ....ive smoked some delicious stuff with babies before thats how i got one that im growing now and she turned into a bigg beautiful baby ...
