Loupe vs. microscope - which do you recommend?

I have the Carson and it's like the others say. It's great if you're not trying to scope the live plant. Really difficult to hold steady on anything above the 60x magnification and you're definitely gonna end up with it sticky using it on the plant. It is possible to see clear enough if you don't mind holding the bud and microscope against each other. Still best on cut samples.

Thanks. I have 1 of the 60-120 mini microscopes and it is so hard to see the trichomes with it. It is very blurry. I do not want to take the plants out of the tent and it is hard to bend down into the back of the tent and be able to see the trichomes with this thing. Does anyone have any tips or should I get 1 of those $20 microscopes that plug into the phone that way I would not need to bend down into the tent to look at trichomes on plants in the back of the tent on there?

Thanks. I tried with a different 40x loupe today and I still had trouble viewing it. I do not think I am going to be able to easily see the trichomes with the plants in the tent and it is hard to remove the plants. I think the easiest way for me to do this with how my tent is would be to cut off a piece of the bud. When you cut off a piece of the bud what part do you cut it from on it? Do you cut off a piece from the top of the bud and how big of a piece do you cut off the bud for it on there?

i have a good USB one i can also use it on my phone but you need steady hands to get pics of them on the plant and i own a Carson scope and a jewellers loupe and the USB is the best out of the bunch for me

I use a magnifying app that can also take pictures, they work well, just have to hold your breath to take a pic!
