Indoor looking for reviews on stitchs super autos... suggestions for sat dom auto strains

Ive heard of different light schedules being used also. In my own searches ive seen 16/8 mentioned many times. I just started a copa and another thai from flash seeds. 24/0 at this point, need to give this some thought myself and soon. I favor more over less, to take advantage of the auto gene. However I also believe that they were bred to be early finishers outdoors, which would support a little less light in the schedule.

Stitch autos are sketchy at best, there have been a lot of disappointed growers from what I have seen over the last few years. I would go with a breeder thats more reputable and growing super's indoors? Why? There are plenty of large stature autos available that I would choose first.... Have you looked at auto ultimate from DP or maybe HBSS from Mephisto?

I was a bit skeptical at first on the flash seeds gear. Most posts are pretty old and i think theyve worked out some of the problems of the past. Im 4/4 germinating and the strains are a bit different from what other companies are putting out. I was looking for something heavy sativa and got it. Harvesting a copacabana next weekend, ill get some pics up then. Put in anorder at seedsman today, got the auto ultimate and the think different too. 4 pack of fantasmo express as a freebie.

thnks for all the replies.
can anyone here give me some guidance growing the super autos indoors?
i saw a post where stitch mentioned they need some switching to 12/12 at some point, since he breeeded them for outdoors....
this is really confusing to me. thnks

I haven't seen much directly from Stitch about that kind of thing. I read somewhere where somebody said that Stitch had said that switching to 16/8 or even 14/10 towards the end would help them finish. This is already passing through a couple people so not really sure what the breeder has actually said concretely about it.

I finished my Muay Thai indoors, and I did give a dark period after about 60 days or so. It did begin flowering very early under 24 hour light, and was flowering along nicely like this. It may probably have finished fine under 24/0, but I wanted to be sure so I went to 16/8, and then down to 14/10 the last couple weeks. I can't honestly say for sure that this helped or not but I did it anyway.

The Copacabana I grew got moved outdoors and did begin flowering soon after. I can't say for sure whether the flowering in this case was triggered by the dark period or autoing. I had to move it outside because my indoor space is pretty small.

If you have the space indoors, well, we can't wait to see your grow, brother. Because these plants are bred to be very tall, you will need a plan for some kind of training. I used a 3 gallon smart pot on the Thai because I knew my space was limited and it still got pretty big. If you have enough space, I'd plant directly into something bigger. If you're going to try and pull one off in a small space, you better think about a smaller pot, that would be my only advice.

I agree with you there. I had heard a bit about problems some years back, and then the super auto releases were coming out mostly after all that dust had settled. I figured the breeder was either coming back with solid gear or getting ready to soil their reputation for good.

I agree that the strains are unique and are different from what else is available. I really love my Muay Thai for the effect it gives and it produced nicely even with a lot of stress in my closet. These plants have the potential to be giants among autos.

hey there everyone. thnks so much for all the awesome feedback. im really excited, it seems im one of the first peeps to try the jamaican berry here. havent been ablle to find any solid reviews or grows online anywheres. shes in a 5 gal pot, and my room only has 5.7 feet height. so ill need to be carefull with the lst.

- how does stitchs plants stretch, when they start their actual flower? shes been preflowering for 2 weeks already, but according to stitch, she wont go into flower till week 7. (another two weeks). do his autos stretch like a normal photo plant when flowering starts, or are they doing their stretch now during pre flower?

i actually really need help and advice with her. she doesnt seem happy at all.
heres a link to the thread i opened in the forums here for advice in dealing with her. i would be happy to hear any opinions on what to do....

bascially to sum it up, her leaves have been very droopy in general. im being carefull with the watering, and it seems that after correcting my initial under watering from the begining, she stilll doesnt seem to be happy. the leaves of the other plant in the tent (a photo strain maui waui), her leaves are reaching really nicely up to the lgiht.
however no matter what i do with the jamaican berry, she just doesnt seem happy. shes got overall droopy leaves, they go up and down throughout the day, but never really look like theyre reaching up.
i topped her once. and have been doing LST the past week, to try and get her more light, since shes super bushy in the middle. with tons of small nodes and growths everywhere which werent getting light. but it stil doesnt seem to be helping.

could it be due to a sudden lowering of temps in the past two weeks? temps went down from mid to upper 70's, and have been in mid 60's to mid 70's the past two weeks...

Hey HappyJoy! Just weighed up the Thai. 5 fat ozs and a 1/2 off the bottom that is actually pretty good. Top bud fills a quart mason jar, at a 1/2 oz. Under that were 4 1/4 oz buds for another ounce. Light fluffy sticky fat and as big as your hand.
My Thai finished up a lot better than it started. Through veg it had the lightest green leaves of all and was most sensitive to the nutes which prompted a switch from FF to AN halfway through the grow. I'm two weeks into another Thai plus a Copa. Giving hydro a go this round, they're around 4-5 nodes now and have started growing noticeably every day for the last few days. Still they are not great looking plants. I'm on 24/0 still and half nutes, up from a quarter last week. I know MediScrogs had a Copa up that was constantly drooping also, check his journal. I'm not gonna overworry it, big light will be up tomorrow probably and that should help a bit.
