Looking for opinions on my three autoflowers

Want the truth? 30 to 50% humidity for young plants is not enough.....it will affect how your plant uptakes nutrients.....If the plant doesn't or can't utilize the nutes your leaves will get butt fugly and the health of the entire plant will suffer.

I'd opt for 60% MINIMUM relative humidity with temps that high. Proper VPD is important AF.

Welcome to AFN, hope I've helped some.

Ive done a couple runs with an rh in the 30s and I don't see a difference from the ones ive done keeping rh optimal. Maybe I'm missing something.

It will severely limit yield........not sure about thc levels. THC levels are mostly genetic I think.

How Humidity Affects Marijuana Plants

Like most plants, marijuana takes in water from its roots and leaves. The higher the humidity, the more water marijuana plants absorb through their leaves and the less water is absorbed through the roots. In low humidity environments marijuana plants will absorb more water through their roots and less through their leaves.

Why does this matter?

Growers infuse the water with critical nutrients that will be absorbed through the plant’s roots. If the humidity level is too high, the plants will not get enough of these nutrients. Certain diseases, such as white powdery mildew and bud rot, are also more likely to strike the leafy plants in high humidity conditions.

But, if the humidity level is too low, the plants will absorb too many nutrients which will harm their growth.

Additionally, marijuana plants need different levels of humidity during different stages. Proper humidity control is one of the most important aspects in raising a healthy crop as quickly as possible.

The general rule of thumb is that younger marijuana plants do best with high humidity and more mature plants need lower humidity levels.

Here is a general reference chart for humidity levels, but please note that specific strains may have different needs:

  • Clone stage needs 70-80% humidity
  • Vegetative stage needs 40-60% humidity
  • Flowering stage needs 40-50% humidity
  • Final weeks of flowering less than 40% humidity

My first couple photo runs all my humidifier could muster was 45% max RH........got bud, was no where near the 33% thc levels that Prayer Pupil can hit. Leaves were kinda ugly......roots absorbed too many nutes.

Bought a new humidifier, better yields.......better looking plants

It didn't limit my yield. I didn't see any difference.

Not looking too bad, but maybe need to be watered more often, cloth pots dry out fast.
I agree, I do catch myself lacking when the soil gets dry, but I’ve never let them go unwatered, I think I’m doing actually pretty good so far. Thanks for your advice.

Hey man, I appreciate the advice, but the thing is my tent is outside so I kinda go based off of the outside weather and humidity levels, my humidifier can only output so much humid air, but my dehumidifier is a commercial wifi dehumidifier and does it’s job, I can go as low as 15-35 RH, if needed. No AC cause not necessary, as I have 3 fans and an exhaust fan. I don’t wanna risk powdery mildew as well. I had an issue with mildew my last grow. Let’s just say I threw the plants away lol

I’ve read over 100 threads and seen 100+ videos on YouTube, and Rh slightly matters I agree.

In my opinion, I slightly believe yield is based off of genetics, nutrients and the way you grow it.

Sometimes we cannot have perfect conditions when so many people are employing stealth or the spouse factor. That being said. I once heard that every second that you have VPD in the correct range, your plant will grow better. I always keep that in mind and strive for it as much as possible.

So what do you recommend for me? Temp/rH wise

You got bad advice from someone in this thread. Running plants at 30% RH is not good at all. Maybe your pressure inside the tent isn't negative, its great if it is. Exhaust CFM should be double that of intake CFM. Here's a decent exhaust system:

Lots of advice on the internet, most of it is bad. People recommending TRIPLE the nutes needed? Then they post journals with butt fugly leaved plants to prove they have no clue.

After this thread I'm done giving out advice. Research deeply and you won't be posting questions to anonymous people.
